Lately it has been very stressful... usually one kid wants to walk, and the other kid is late for school. After dropoff is over, I usually have a pounding headache and I lose an extra hour recovering from that!!
Is dropoff/pickup of your kids a stressful experience for you?

Yes.. Lately they both cry. And one of them cries at pickup time as well. What gives?

yes because they are both soooo slow...... They want to put their coat on this hook, no wait that hook. Lets hang up the backpack - no you did it wrong.

Then as I leave :what time will you pick me up? can you pick me up early? whats for dinner? etc etc
And I am just watching the clock tick and thinking how late I am going to be......

No, but she's still portable. I can just pick her up, grab her stuff, and go. When she starts walking/talking I expect our pickup to last about 3x as long!

Dropoff can be stressful because I'm always running late and if she is being super clingy or the other kids all want to talk to me then I feel like it takes me forever to get out of there.
Pickups are always awesome; LO squeals super loud as soon as she sees me and yells "mama!!!" and runs to me at top speed. It's the best part of my day

Drop off has always been easy. Pick up was a pain when she didn't want to leave daycare. But now she is in school and everyone is just ready to go at the same time. Awesome. So both are easy at the moment.

I only do pickup, but it's seriously the best part of my day. She's always so excited to see me! But she's still so little I just pick her up and we go...usually I'm in and out in 5 minutes or less.

Drop off can be hard. I'm alone getting kids ready, rushing out the house with all my stuff and their stuff, and trying to get to work on time. Pick up is much easier-no rush.

Nope. But, it's elementary school, so he just gets out of the car and walks in and after school he walks back out to the car.

My LO always cries at pick up because....she doesn't want to leave. she doesn't want to wear shoes, she doesn't want to walk, she doesn't want to be carried, she is hungry, she is thirsty, she is tired, she wants to run, she wants to carry the chicco car seat, etc. She also asks for Daddy when he is at work. 
I want to do drop off!

@mrbee: saw your IG... dropoffs are the hardest for us because N likes to stall and stall in the mornings so it's frustrating just getting out the door. pickups are a breeze, she's so happy to see us at the end of the day!

I find pick up very stressful. DH does it regularly and thank goodness, I couldn't do it! When I drop her in am, the older kids are already gone to school, it's calm, less kids. After school it's just so busy and I am glad she's only in that for 45 mins or so of her day.

Drop offs are easy (and of course, DH gets to do that!) and pickups are good, too, but it gets stressful once we get home because she takes FOREVER to eat her dinner (too busy playing with her food, talking up a storm, etc.) and in the meantime I've got a baby who needs to bed bathed and fed and put to bed. GAH!

Drop off is easy. She just waves bye bye while she eats breakfast. Pick up is the best part of my day but stressful cause then I see how little she napped and eating lately and it stresses me out and makes me sad she isn't getting the sleep she needs.
