Our kids are almost 4 and 6, and we've completely weaned off of Elmo for a while now! For a while, he had a death grip on the kids' hearts... but now they've moved on. Can't say I'm gonna miss the little red guy!

Not really. She used to be obsessed with him. Now it's all Curious George, all the time.

She used to be obsessed with Elmo but now only asks for him once in a while. She's moved on to Doc, Daniel Tiger and Minnie. Unfortunately during her 6 months obsession MIL bought every single Elmo thing she could find so my house looks like it's puked red monsters

Nope! DS is 2 and has no idea who Elmo is.

Only the Brush Your Teeth song, which I usually just let her listen to but will very occasionally let her watch. Otherwise, she doesn't really seem to care. She doesn't get screen time (aside from the occasional Brushy-Brush and on long-haul flights), though, so she doesn't really know that much about most shows/characters.

My son loves books with Elmo in it but could take or leave SS. @mediagirl: DS used to be obsessed with Elmo too, but now he loves George more. I wonder if what it is? At least George is quieter.

He's creeping back into our lives, thanks to M. I had about a 3 year break from him in between kids.

Daniel Tiger is #1, then Abby, then Elmo (and she doesn't even watch that much TV - I swear!)

M has been obsessed with Elmo since about 1. She'll be 3 in Dec and I don't see him going away anytime soon.
