Halloween is postponed until Friday here, but I don't know how they're going to enforce that. So I'm worried that we're going to have kids showing up tonight and Friday! It's not even little kids here honestly...it's mostly huge groups of teenagers (some not wearing costunes) so I even though I have the candy I don't feel like opening the door for them both nights, and I'm pretty sure that if I left it out in a bowl someone would just take it all in the first 5 minutes.

@highwire: Yes, we still have tons of people without power although I'm guessing it's probably not in my neighborhood. The kids just went back to school today.

our local halloween parade and the huge west village parade has been canceled due to flooding and lack of police power. but halloween is still on. we're going trick or treating!

Yeah, we were going to go trick-or-treating at my parents' house tonight, but it's delayed until Friday. (I think it's weird since it's just windy and rainy here, it's not like we're on the coast or something.)

It's a beautiful day here. Sunny but chilly (high of 59). I wouldn't mind if Halloween was cancelled though.
