Background: I send three 4 1/2 ounce bottles with T to the babysitters every day. 3/4 of the time he only takes 2. Sometimes he'll catch the third at the very end of the day (dad picks him up around 3:30) and his daddy has to wait for him to finish before he takes him home. I always send 3 just in case and freeze the third bottle if he doesn't take it. I work 8-4 and pump at 9, 11, 1, and 3 to get the 3 bottles (and usually a little extra).
Today has been busy and I've been missing my pump times and pushing them back all day. It's 2:15 and I just finished my third pump. If I did my 4th it would be almost 4 or even after 4 and I don't want to stay after work any longer than I have to! I am just 1 ounce shy of 3 bottles. I guess I could pump at 3:30 and get less than normal (I'll def get an ounce) but honestly I don't want to! Haha! I just want to go home to my baby (who will probably be ready to nurse shortly after I get there anyway). I still have the third bottle left over from yesterday. Can I just send that with him tomorrow and freeze my 1 ounce short bottle?
I don't want to do anything to mess up my supply. But this doesn't seem like a big deal...just wanted to see what HB thinks...if this is a bad idea or not. And this would only be a bad timing once in a while kind of day thing, I'll still be pumping 4 times a day on normal days.
And sorry if this is a really dumb question. But that's what HB is for! lol
