My mom wants to get one for DS. I'm wondering if it's big enough...he has a Skip Hop one right now and it is definitely too small.

The pre-k is small so I would ask her to get the next size up.
My DD was gifted a rolling pbk backpack and for something so big and heavy, there really isn't a lot of space inside.
I actually just ordered a backpack from LON to replace the pbk one.ETA: DS was gifted a mini pbk and it's smaller than our skip hops!

@chopsuey: ah i didn't think to check LON but I will. on the height span he's only 3 inches shorter than the recommended for pre-k. I'll go with the next size if we go through PBK. thanks!!

We use the large size. I would definitely get at least the small size, PreK is too small. If your LO needs to carry any folders or binders, I would go with the large. It is lightweight, holds a lot, and has useful pockets/compartments.

We got a regular sized one from LL Bean and love it. DS isn't in school yet but we use it for MDO and church. And they have a lifetime warranty !

We got the pre k one and it's definitely too small. Won't even fit her lunch box.
