I can't tell the difference, but someone on here once explained that 24m makes more room for a diaper.

I find that 2T is bigger. LO fits perfectly into 18-24month clothing but most 2T items are way too big.

I think for girls' clothes up to 24 months, the dresses come with a diaper cover.

More room for diapers and rompers usually have snaps in the crotch area.

My mom says that 24m is wider than 2T. I guess that could be the diaper room thing. But since all the companies make things different sizes...there's probably not a ton of difference!

It depends on the brand. I think I compared osh kosh before and the length on the toddler size was longer even though the weight range was the same.
