I am going to try and make this concise..

DH wants to take a night class (in addition to his full time job). This would leave him out of the house 2 nights a week (6-10pm) and about 40 minutes away. He also plays hockey one night a week so this would be a total of 3 nights a week. Hockey is a non negotiable because he had to sit out last season for health issues and I know it means a lot to him.

This course is a great opportunity and I am happy he wants to take it.

Here is where it gets complicated. It was initially supposed to finish the last week of June. It was cutting it close because I am due July 2nd. DH would then have to study before he takes his final exam (maybe about a week) but wasn't a huge deal. I thought well even though it cuts it close it is the best time for him to do it because I definitely don't want him away from home 2/3 nights a week when our son is 1+ yrs old. I would then have to work all day and solo parent at night.

The wrench in the plans? Classes were supposed to start this week but were cancelled due to something happening with the instructor. NOW, it won't be finished until July 15th.

DH is considering dropping the course.. I don't know what to say or if it is really that big of a deal (I know a lot of bees solo parent). This would really only leave me alone (if I carry to term) 2 nights a week for the first 2ish weeks)

Additional info
**I have a 1 year mat leave
**This is our first, hence why I don't know what to expect..
** DH would probably stay home with me for the first 2 weeks or so (or my mom could stay the first 2 weeks and then DH would stay the 2 weeks after that..we haven't decided)
**He would skip hockey the first few weeks the baby was home
**I COULD go early... which would suck even more if DH decided to take the class.
**the course is also taking up 4 TBD Saturdays

What would you do??
