My LO is 18 weeks/4 months. I tried swaddle weaning at 16 weeks with the swaddle up (http://www.amazon.com/Love-Dream-Swaddle-Original--Medium/dp/B005ULUZIQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421355054&sr=8-1&keywords=swaddle+up) and he just wasn't ready. So I've start trying again today because for the past 3 days hes broken out of his swaddle each time. I assumed he was ready.

This time I'm trying to do one arm out for a few days, then the next arm, then done. His babysitter has said that he hasn't really napped today and he's fighting it. Is that just normal for swaddle weaning? Or is he not ready? I'd really like to get him swaddle weaned ASAP because I'd like to try to do some sort of sleep training (for falling asleep - not for feedings) and I feel like I can't do that if he isn't able to soothe himself without a swaddle. Also, he's starting to roll.

Thoughts? Advice? Do I stick it out for a couple more days? My babysitter sounded like she was worried I'd get into a cycle of him being overtired...but I honestly don't know what to do anymore! His sleep is so awful right now...I'm so frustrated and just feeling pretty crappy to be honest.
