I put on my tankini from on last summer and it looks good! Bikini...eh...not so much.

There was a summer during college I was definitely swimsuit ready. Other than that - nope!

Sort of. I am fine wearing a bathing suit, but I decided when I was pregnant that I was never wearing a bikini again. One-piece or tankini suits are just much more flattering for my body type (super short torso). I need something with a lot of support, so I love the Athleta suits with underwire that come in bra sizes. Plus, it's *so* much easier to chase after a toddler in a tankini.

@mrsjazz: Yes, exactly.
I am ready because 1) of the reason mrsjazz so helpfully provided and 2) I don't put crazy expectations on myself. Do I look like a swimsuit model? Nope. But, I have been working very hard on getting healthy and yeah, getting my weight down a bit. If I wait until things are perfect, I'll never put a swimsuit on. As these things go, though, I feel pretty happy and confident at this point.

I wore these swim dresses that my MIL loaned me and I looooove them!

I actually laughed when I saw the title of this thread. I'd wear a bathing suit but the idea of a bikini is truly funny.

I will never be in a bikini again because of all my stretch marks.
I wouldn't consider myself swimsuit ready, but I do wear a swimsuit now as it is. I take Cobi to the Y pool weekly. I don't feel confident/great in my skin but it is what it is.

I've never been a bikini gal out of preference, but I do feel like I'm swimsuit ready! Just picked up some cute ones from Macy's for LO's swim classes!
