Ours is getting a bit dry, which got me worried about the tree being a fire hazard! Gonna water it more... a friend said that trees love Sprite, but I looked online and apparently that's an urban legend? Who knows... I'll probably stick with water.

Yes. It's been a bit chaotic here and no one watered it over the weekend while I was working. I flooded it this morning. Hope it helps!

Nope, we have a fake tree lol. My #1 reason for the fake tree is because of the fire hazard of real ones. They go up in flames in a second! Scary scary. Not sure about the sprite but it sounds like BS lol

Mine is still going strong. I did that trick where I took off a 0.5'' slice of the stump before putting it in my tree stand. It's suppose to help the tree drink water. I'll make sure to fill our tree stand before our trip.

It's drying out a little, but overall still holding up well. It's not drinking a whole lot of water anymore, so it's definitely on it's last legs.

The tree guy at our local tree farm said to feed your tree with hot water and add a teaspoon of bleach to the water and it has worked like a charm for three years straight. Phew said he keeps his tree up November to February every year

The bottom seems to be drying out more than the top. We put a special tree food in the water, but we aren't as good about watering it as we should be, especially now that we have the presents around the bottom.

We got ours 11/22; DH waters it religiously everyday, it's def drying out more and more needles falling off, but it's hanging in there!!
