Nope, took it down the first week of Jan. But our outdoor lights are still up! We haven't had a break from snow or cold to even try to take them down!

@Rubies: wow!
If we're being honest - three Rubbermaid tubs of Christmas decor are still sitting in our living room, waiting to be taken to storage. The reason though, is that we have been using them as a barrier to block LO into the living room!

I took down all the decorations after new years, then I think it hung around for another week or so. I actually felt bad throwing it out b/c it still looked so healthy! I asked DH if we could plant it in the yard

No, but it was up until the end of January lol! It was a real tree and it was SO STIFF and dry it was really hard to cram out our door lol.

The fresh tree and ornaments have been down since early January. The mini tree w/o ornaments is still up!

OMG no, that puppy was taken down on Boxing Day this year. I was feeling clausterphobic upstairs with the tree in the main living space.
Same as @mrsjyw: our outdoor stuff is still up because it's been too cold/snowy to take it down. Makes me crazy because our outdoor pot lights are red and green and there is noting we can do about it until the weather breaks.

No, but there have been years when it was up pretty late into the new year!

ahhh i'm amazed by the people who still have christmas decoration up outside!

We took ours down just a little while ago . . . LO loved the tree and turning on the lights! I just didn't have the heart to take it down sooner. We schlepped the last box of boxed up decorations down to the basement last weekend.
ETA: We took our outside decorations down before we took the tree down.

Nope! DH wants it down before the New Year. Some old Southern thing that it is bad luck to have it up.

nope, but our tree & decor is still boxed waiting for mr. bird to take it down to the basement of the building
i can't do it myself and he's been working all. the. time (as in he did 28hrs of OT just over the wk end, he's not being lazy). next time he has a day off or gets home before 830, that's his task!

Not this year, but there have been several years in recent memory where our Christmas decorations have made it to Valentine's Day. So you're not alone!

No, but our wreath is! Gotta remember on trash day (she says every week...)

Nope. We took it down on Dec. 22nd!
It was funny seeing a Christmas tree abandoned on the curb before Christmas. We were out of town for three weeks and I didn't want to come home to a pile of needles.

@Rubies: Is it a fake tree? I have a friend who keeps her tree up and decorates it for whatever holiday is coming up next! It's actually pretty cute
I assume she has Valentines day decorations up now.
We put our Christmas stuff away on NYE... but just realized the wreath on our front door was up until last week
oops!

We actually had to take ours down the week before Christmas. We had a live tree and were headed out of state for a couple of weeks, so we took it down on 12/20. We did, however, have our nativity and Christmas cards up through the better part of January, and our boxes of Christmas stuff are tossed into a closet instead of having been taken to the basement.

Nope, it came down the week after Christmas. I think the longest I've ever had our (real) tree up was mid-January. There were brown needles all over the place - drove me nuts.

@Rubies: You're not the only one. My sister and I are too lazy to get the box from the attic and take it down.
@thismustbetheplace: this is a really cute idea I'm going to have to tell my sister

No. We took it down sometime in January. I packed the ornaments away and the the empty tree say there for a couple weeks!

We just put ours out today. With the holiday and potential snow it was now or never. I miss the pine smell but happy to have the space back.

Nope. I took it down mid-January so that I could assemble and put DS's exersaucer in the living room.

Yes, the kittens were constantly chasing each other around the base, fighting behind it, climbing the tree, and chewing on it. There were constantly needles everywhere. It was driving us crazy.

No, we took everything down right after New Years. I actually get really annoyed when people in our neighborhood have outdoor lights up past January. I know it shouldn't bother me.

Nope! I can't stand to look at our holiday stuff after the first week of January.
