My toddler goes 3 days a week. She usually goes MWF but I switched M for Tues because I have a Dr's appointment tomorrow. Daycare just needs 2 days notice if I want to switch days!
My friend says her daycare isn't flexible at all!

I'd say that mine's pretty flexible. With a text message, we give her a heads up on appointments, etc.

mine is, we're having her go two days a week and we just have to call ahead of time

We go 5 days a week, but they're really flexible about when we bring him in and adjusting for his different schedule. He doesn't wake up until later than most kids, and DH doesn't work until noon... so they play most mornings unless DH has to be somewhere.

Not that flexible! If you do part time at our day care the spot is shared with another baby. So if one baby is there MWF the other on is there TT so there wouldn't me a spot if you wanted to switch days.

Our daycare doesn't do part time, you have to go 5 days a week. So, it's definitely not that flexible.

I know that my daycare does part-time, but I have no idea how flexible they are about changing your schedule around. We go full-time.

My daycare is totally flexible. She'd take him overnight if I asked! I drop him off whenever we're ready in the morning, take him whatever days I can't keep him home. She's pretty amazing.

Ours is pretty flexible! L goes 3 days, and can stay from 8-6. If he needs to come in earlier they just need 24 hours notice; i haven't switched days on them though. The only thing they're kind of strict about is they want all the kids there by 9; it helps to get the whole room on one schedule (well, as much as infants can be!)

Yes they are awesome like that! we went on vacation and he missed two days last week--they actually suggested he come in on Friday so I could get stuff done (he normally goes t/w/r).

Very flexible but it's a small daycare with 12 kids total.

As long as there is space on the day, they are totally flexible. I love LO's daycare!

I WOH 2 days per week but different days each week with every third weekend so we needed a REALLY flexible arrangement. Luckily we found a SAHM with a 3 year old girl who babysits for M. I email her my work schedule when I get it and she watches M those days. She's kept her really late when we had an emergency one night and she's even offered to keep her overnight if we were in a pinch. This crazy schedule was one of my biggest fears - we are so lucky to have her!
(DH is with M while I work on the weekends)
