For those of you with dogs, does that make them less afraid of them?
We don't have a dog and my LO is terrified of them. She'll crying and grabbing for me if she sees one being walked down the street.

My LO loves dogs! She'll stand at our window and stare at all the doggies that walk by

@chopsuey119: Is she OK if you're outside and the dog is closer? The LO is fine looking from the inside but not the outside.

I have a pomeranian that I left in CA with my sister.. Can't wait for my 2 babies to meet. LO saw him when she was 4 months old, but I don't think she really noticed him back then

My LO thinks dogs are hilarious, we have two of our own but she likes looking at other people's dogs as well.

How often is your LO exposed to dogs? We have a big dog and LO isn't crazy about him. She always has her eye on him, and if he comes close her eyes flicker because she thinks he'll lick her face, because he has. She's ok if he licks her once or twice, but if he keeps going she'll start crying. I'm hoping as she gets older she'll learn to love him.

@artbee: never, none of our friends have dogs so she doesn't have any opportunity to get used to them. we just see them when we hang out in the front yard and they walk by.
hope your LO will like him later but she is so teeny yet and he is so big!

@Andrea: That's hard then, she's too little to hang out at a dog park and I'd only want to expose her to dogs that you know so you trust them.

We don't have a dog nor do we have close family or friends with dogs.
This weekend we went to visit some coworkers of my husband's. They have 2 dogs and my son was obsessed with them, to the point of laying down in the dog bed with the larger dog. It was eye opening, because I really thought the dogs would be more aggressive.
