Yes. He was interested in my charts and read part of TCOYF. When we were doing our IVF cycle he sat in the room with me while I gave myself my shots.

I'd say the beginning no, he wasn't really that involved and I didn't really want him to be. As time went on I would tell him when I was O's but the most involved he was was during my IVF cycle.

I tell DH everything but DH thought everything was gross! I can't blame him.

He just wanted to know when he had to BD with me.

Definitely. We used NFP to postpone pregnancy, so by the time we were TTC, he knew as much as I did.

He's mildly involved. I let him know when my fertile period is. I've talked to him about temping and other 'odd' things I do to help TTC. He does his part also, researching a little on his part.

He knows my fertile window and asks how many bars and such. Somtimes I mention cm. He keeps track of when we bd etc. Ive never temped so neither of us know that. He knows I have ff tracking and around when the tww is etc.

I did all the tracking but he liked to know when my fertile days would be.

Not especially.

I mean, we talk about wanting a baby and he's trying to find a new job so he'll be home more once we do have a baby...but other than seeing my OPKs in the trash when he empties it...it's not like we share every detail of my cycles.

But we also work opposite schedules, so when we have the time to talk, I don't really want it to be about CM and the scientific side of TTC.

So he's on board, but I don't think it's necessary for him to know all the details.

I guess I should add...that even though we don't get into the details right now, DH did take NFP with me when we were engaged. So he does understand how it happens and what OPKs mean and what not.

A little. Now that we are over a year into this, he knows I temp and use OPKs and monitor things, but doesn't understand the details, and sees them when I leave them on the counter. He trusts when I say fertile week is, but that's as far as his involvement goes.

I deliberately kept him out of it because I didn't want to give him "performance anxiety". But after we hit the 6 month mark, our closest friends getting pregnant, and we went to the doctor for blood/urine and SA, DH asked me to "educate him".

So I sat him down and showed him how my cycles worked. I can see it's affecting his attitude towards dtd, which makes me sad. But I think he wants to be more involved because it's taken so long.

he is totally involved in charting. Although I do tell him when i get an positive OPK so he knows we will need to be jumping each others bones for the next few days. And sometimes when I am couple of days away from expecting AF and getting anxious/hopeful. I also tell him when i get a BFN/AF.

My husband is not involved all other than the fact he knows we are trying. To be honest, and don't hold this against him, he just isn't that interested in all the specifics. We have sex almost every day anyway, and I have no problem initiating so there won't be any issues on the days I'm fertile. I kind of feel like saying "This one is for the baby!" is a bit of a boner kill. We just have a healthy sex life, and I leave the TTC-ing up to me!
