DH handles daycare dropoff so he gets LO ready in the morning. He HATES picking out her clothes and likes it when I set something out the night before. I forgot to do this last night so he was on his own this morning....he did just fine and even put a bow in her hair! LOL!
Is your SO good about picking out clothes for your LO?

We both have eclectic taste so my SO does pretty good. He was in charge of drop offs for 6 months until I changed jobs. Sometimes the colors would be off but I can't blame him, he's color blind. The single piece rompers were always a go to.

Well she's not hear yet, but I have a feeling he will struggle in this department! I'm excited to see what he does though!
This reminds me of my preschool pictures for school. My dad got me ready that day, I had an old man comb over for a hairdo as I had shorter hair....not pretty on a little girl.

DH hates picking out clothes for DD... and he doesn't do a great job at it, even though he is wonderful at dressing himself in a stylish manner. I leave out clothes for the baby when I have time to, but on mornings when I'm rushing out the door he's on his own.

No. He still doesn't know the difference between pjs and day clothes unless we're talking about smocked dresses. It stresses him out to think about picking out her clothes.

No. He will put her in clothes at home on Sundays but almost always asks me or I put an outfit out the night before.

I think it's easier to dress boys so he doesn't have any problems picking out clothes for my son. He just determines clothes based on weather...Tshirt vs long sleeve...shorts/pants....That's basically it. Boys are much simpler.
Now with our daughter...ooooo. different story. I'm sure he would have a much tougher time picking out clothes for her. He asked me the other day what a romper was.

Ehhhh.... He actually does pretty good. But he usually just puts her in a onesie - no bow, no pants... just a onesie. But he does surprise me every now and then and put her in a dress (w/o a bow).

He always checks with me before he finalizes an outfit (and if I'm not around he'll put her in a go-to tshirt and shorts).
I've seen him dress her in polka dots and checkers at the same time and he's made some interesting color choices. But I never criticize and now we're at the point where Lala will say, "No daddy, I want this!" So that helps, because she (mostly) has pretty good taste... though today I let her go to school in a red outfit with green Keens on. C'est la vie!

He's colorblind.... so no. He only has to get her dressed sometimes on the weekends, and if I care I'll tell him ahead of time what she should wear.

He doesn't do it, I always pick out her clothes if we are going out for anything other than a hike in the forest

Our daughter isn't here yet but my husband has already requested that I leave out an outfit if he's going to have to be the one dressing her. I plan on mostly doing as he asked but I do plan on not doing it sometimes because I can't wait to see what he comes up with. If nothing else it will make for a funny picture.

DD mostly picks out her own clothes now, but I think DH does a pretty good job. To be honest, as long as DD is dressed weather-appropriate and out the door on time, I really don't care what she's wearing!

@artbee: My husband is colorblind too! He has trouble seeing reds & greens. He really can't see khaki browns and khaki greens. One time, he wore a bright blue shirt with khaki green pants and I told him his outfit was horrendous. And he goes "What's wrong with a blue shirt and tan pants?" Oh my....

My husband is incapable of putting an outfit together for our son. I think he does it on purpose.
