I forgot how much 1 yr olds eat, especially when compared to my 3 yr old. If I hadn't seen an old FB post about how much DD1 at when she was about a year, I wouldn't have believed it. DD2 is like a garbage disposal - I don't see how all the food fits in her stomach.

I am totally with you - my older son at 1 year old ate more than I did. He amazed everyone who ever saw him eat. We really didn't know where he put it - I mean logistically, how could he fit all that food in his stomach?! My younger son is 18 mos now and eats what I would call a lot but nowhere near what his brother did.

hahaha, I remember when Xander was like that and just seemed like he could eat everything in sight! Now's in the more picky stage and some days just skips meals altogether!

My 2 year old doesn't eat much at all! We were staying with a family with a 1 year old and the difference was remarkable.

My 2.5 year old eats nearly nothing, it's amazing he can survive on so little!

@petunia354: Same here! H is consistently gaining weight but barely eats. So I think it's from the whole milk that she loves so much. I just finished up her left over chicken and rice soup because I didn't want to waste food.
