@Lahela017: That's so exciting!! Congratulations!!!
We don't have anything major going on - Saturday we're getting together with friends for dinner, and Sunday my brother is coming over. Monday we'll probably end up doing chores and relaxing!

@Adira: sounds like our plans.. laid back

We have a birthday party, friends coming into town (but that’s up in the air bc their LO is sick), plans with my sisters fam and the a bunch of plants to get in the ground and other yard work to do! So going to be a busy weekend for us.
@Lahela017: congrats, so exciting!

@mediagirl: Hey, I live in Duluth!!! If you want an awesome place to eat, let me know. There are a few and one is beyond amazing (if you like bbq)
It's going to be a super warm weekend here. something like 86 on Sunday, so Monday should be very warm as well.

No plans for us, but I would like to take a drive up the north shore of Lake Superior and check out some of the waterfalls. I've heard that they are currently running pretty heavy and are beautiful.
DH is in his last class for his MBA, but he needs to write a paper. Boo! Otherwise, just would like to get our garden planted.

@NorthStar: I'd LOVE food recommendations. It's the one thing I look forward to when I travel for work!

@mediagirl: ok - the hands down best place to eat is at OMC Smokehouse. Southern Living had an article last year with each state's best BBQ and this was MN's. If you like craft beer, I would suggest going to Bent Paddle and ordering OMC from there. Then, you can see their awesome new tap room, while also having OMC (OMC will deliver it there as they are a block away). Here are two links to those places. How long are you in town? If you need more suggestions, let me know. lol Looking at Bent Paddle's website, they might be closed Monday? So, I'd check that first, but you could definitely just go to the restaurant.

@NorthStar: I'll be in town late Monday (not eating) through Friday at lunchtime. Not drinking right now or I'd be all for the craft beers.

@mediagirl: oh wow, that's a long time. Other places to check out:
*Canal Park Brewery (i know you aren't drinking, but their food is good).
*Northern Water's Smokehouse - has good sandwiches/smoked fish. https://northernwaterssmokehaus.com/sandwiches/
*Va Bene - Italian
*Duluth Grill - has vegetarian and other good food. Mostly organic/healthy and has same owners as OMC.
*New Scenic Cafe - If you have time to take a 20-30 minute drive up the north shore. Has high end food.
*Tavern on the Hill - has good american and other food. Lots of great options and they have a nice outdoor patio.
*Within the Fitger's complex is Fitgers Brewhouse (has really good food) and Boat House (I've heard has good seafood).
So, here are a few options! Feel free to reach out!

I may stop by a thrift store and see if there are any clothes I need. I’m trying to replace my wardrobe because I basically haven’t bought new clothes since 2014 and all my T-shirt’s are falling off or basically rags.
I’m hoping we’ll get together with family but DH’s family is super flaky so idk. We have a formal wedding on Saturday that’s catered by a super duper fancy restaurant (like the most expensive one in our ruralish town), so I’m really looking forward to the food!

Saturday is DD's 1st birthday party (though this is the only thing we're doing, it's likely going to be a draining day )
Sunday is MIL's birthday (plans tbd because my inlaws are last minute planners)
Monday is DD's actual birthday (small photo shoot on our lawn, visiting my parents for BBQ, crying because my baby is huge, etc)
It's going to be a busy, fantastic weekend

My sister and I are going away for a quasi-babymoon! (She's 30 weeks and I am 24.) We are going to stay in this little village on the coast, go to a day spa, have breakfast delivered to our room, walk around the village and shop. I CANNOT wait!

My mom is coming tomorrow so DH and I can go to a wedding Saturday without the baby (first time leaving him with someone while we go out!). I'm hoping maybe she'll be willing to do some of the night feedings so we get to sleep extra too. It's also our anniversary weekend (Monday). I asked DH if we had plans this weekend and he mumbled something about yard work, so I guess we aren't going out for that.

@Lahela017: congrats! That’s so exciting!
DH is in a golf tournament at his new country club so I’ll be home alone with the kids most of the weekend. And most of our friends are going away for the weekend. So not super exciting for me.

We are camping with our church family and then having a date day on Monday to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Toddler is going to ILs house for the whole day and we are not sure what our date will entail but we have a cheesecake factory gift card so there's that.

We are going to Texas to visit some good friends! BBQ, pool parties and boating here I come! Hopefully my wonderful children are perfect angels the entire flight and the whole weekend.

We have a different holiday here, but it’s a 5 day weekend for the kids. We’re going to the beach for a few nights and one of our friends with kids is tagging along.

I'm hoping to not be too undone by my upcoming procedure on Tuesday. We were supposed to go to ca for a big family party instead.
All of your plans sound way better!

SO much fun to be had!
I’ve gotten an extra day for the weekend by taking yesterday off I had my NT scan in the morning and my parents have been visiting since Wednesday so I took the rest of the day to go to lunch with them and my hubs and LO.
Today we are going to have some outdoor time with LO before Alberto rains all over the rest of the holiday weekend.
LO is also hosting her friend for a sleepover tonight! The girls should have a blast and I honk it will soften the sads after her grandparents head back home.
Have fun everyone!
