And LO is standing in her crib, throwing her monkeys at the floor and SCREAMING. She's refusing to be rocked and she screams whether I'm in the room or out of the room.
Like an idiot I thought I could push out bedtime by 15 minutes because my neighbor wanted us to stay at her daughter's b'day party long enough for cake. I thought we were safe because she'd taken a car nap on the way back from the beach in addition to two long naps.
This is on the back of A WEEK of her waking up in the middle of the night for between one and four hours (seriously, four hours? WTF?) and refusing to sleep. I am wrecked. I have so much work to do.
Just. Go. To. Sleep.
Can someone send me a case of wine?
Thanks! I think she may be out. I'm just praying the people upstairs don't pick this moment to slam a door.
We had a hell of a time with sleep when the molars came in (and they took a while). Fingers crossed they come in ASAP! In the meantime, would you be at all comfortable laying down with her somewhere? That (being close to Mama) brings E some comfort when he's teething, and lets me at least doze. We'll curl up on the futon in his room together (or in our bed).
Usually it works to lay down in the spare bed in the nursery while she goes to sleep and reassure her, but that hasn't worked at all this week. We're just going in every time she ramps up and laying her down and patting her until she's calm, and then she ramps up all over again. I think she may be out. It took an hour an ten minutes tonight.
