Our son turned 4 months yesterday, and we've been noticing that his 3-6 month clothes are becoming small. I tried some 6 month clothing on him, and they're perfect. As a mommy, I can't help but to be a little sad lol. Not to mention, that his 3-6 month clothes are so cute!

I always get a little sad too when I have to pack away those clothes
And I always wonder if they'll ever get worn again by my next LO or if we'll have a boy next. But it's always fun when they can start to wear the new, bigger clothes!

I just packed up my 5 month old's 3-6 stuff and switched her drawers over to 6-9. I got a little teary.

I teared up when I put her newborn stuff away. Since then, I get a little sad, but also excited to put new outfits on her!

Thanks for this post! It's amazing how fast they grow! LO's 2 months old and now in 0-3 m size but a few 3-6 m sleepers actually fit her OK. I've been browsing all the sales lately and it's been really tempting to buy more stuff, I have to remind myself that she won't be so small for long.

Yes. When she grew out of newborn, I almost cried. I got over it by pulling out her cute 3mo stuff..

It is so sad. There are things I need to put her in ASAP or else she is going to quickly grow out of them! Aaah.

I even get sentimental changing diaper sizes. They grow way too quickly. Before A, I wanted two boys and a girl... now I neeeed another little girl so we can bring out all the sweet little clothes that I miss so much already.

I know! It's hard but there are so many fun milestones to come and the new baby stage is so hard!

aww!!! same here... it's exciting and sad at the same time... I like to stock up on cute clothes for later ages so I'll be excited for it..
I just packed up all his 3 month stuff, and some of his 3-6 month. He is 6 months... he's kind of at an awkward stage though - the 3 month items are too small, and the 6 month is too big!

@LAGS: I get sad over changing diaper sizes too! He's starting to fit into the size 3's. The 2's still fit, but the days are numbered. Can I please hit the pause button? It's all going way too fast!
@bpcmarj: That's what I was thinking! I'm making sure we have him wear some of his clothes he's barely had a chance to wear out before we need to move up a size!

@LAGS: We just changed diaper sizes yesterday from newborn to infant (LO is 10 weeks old now) and it was really sad! I miss her tiny little newborn diapers.
I just packed away some 0-3 month clothes yesterday as LO is now too tall to fit into anything with feet attached. The 6 month clothes swim on her but she needs the length! It does make me sad to pack away clothes though as I'm trying to savour every second with our little girl before she grows up. Fortunately, LO's best clothes collection is her 6 month range so I am excited to start breaking out some of the super cute outfits!
