@Adira: I haven't either. I just dipped them, let them sit for a second in the spoon, and then slid them back on the to wax paper/pan. When my aunt purchased professional ones, they were in cupcake wrappers with the extra chocolate pooled at the bottom. Once I saw those I didn't feel so bad about mine not being perfectly smooth.

It's the 1st, so I poas. Nothin. Not surprised. Whatever. I think I'll be the most surprised person to hear when I'm (if it ever happens) pregnant. AF isn't here either. This month I really need to work on my diet! I blow up so easily if I'm not careful, and I haven't been:(
this is probably all my fault. My body is probably saying 'no! No babies if you're gonna be a fatty! It's unhealthy!' whatever, you're a stupid body, you don't even ovulate. 12 year old prostatots ovulate better! And if you didn't want me to feed you crap, stop making crap taste so good & make me feel better! Whoa psycho cyber argument with my own body, haha, I think I feel a little better now

@mrs. bird: haha, you made me laugh! Don't worry - fatties can get pregnant too! I'm a fatty and I eat nothing but junk food and I was able to get pregnant, so you will too!! Sorry your POAS didn't yield any good results. When is AF due for you?

My chart has been very strange this month, so I may be waiting longer than my original guess of Aug 6th to POAS.
I'm feeling pretty discouraged about this month already though. My chart/fertility signs just seem off.

That's what my husband said, this morning. Although it was more of a begrudging, "well, we should probably try again tonight..." Poor guy- he is in medical school and just started a new rotation that has him working crazy long hours... !I haven't gotten pre-ovulation dips before, but nothing about this cycle seems normal, so maybe I am this time!

Still nothing goin on for me... AF is about 5 days late now on a 'normal BC period' but I expect I will continue the waiting game until at least this weekend. My temps are continuing to rise/stay higher though, which is (maybe) hopeful?

@Bookworm: Haha. I just checked your chart and even though AF is late, it looks like you're only 9dpo today! So tomorrow is way more likely to be an accurate test, Saturday even better. Don't be discouraged by the BFN yesterday, only like 9% of tests show positive at 8dpo..

@JoJoGirl: Hehe, you caught me! I was testing a bit early because I'm really not sure exactly WHEN I ovulated. My chart originally said it was 2 days before, so I was hopeful that mayyyyyybe I could get a good result. Can't help it, it's my first month and I'm sooo impatient!! lol!

Okay all I'm officially in my TWW, I Od Monday or Tuesday - bring it on! Going to keep my testing day the same (8/13 - 1 day before AF) but everyone knows I'll probably test before that.

I went to the Dr. yesterday for my post-D&C followup. She gave me the OK to start trying now even though I haven't gotten my first period yet! She also said that she thinks I'm ovulating now! I went home and took an OPK and got a smily face. Looks like we're in for a POAS date of 8/15. I'm not getting my hopes up since DH won't be back from a work trip until tonight, but I'm excited that we're officially TTC again!

I'm at 8 DPO today. I'm really trying not to symptom spot but today has been weird. I felt super nauseous at the gym this morning but brushed it off as me being tired or hungry. The super weird thing has been my emotions which are totally crazy today. I usually listen to classical music while I work because it's relaxing & makes me hate my job a little less. Well, today I have started crying on 4 separate occasions when a really sad piece has started. WTF is that? This has never happened to me before, so I have no idea what it could be. Am I reading too much into it?

I've been ttc for a few months now and I decided this month not to share my POAS day because it's all gotten me so crazy in the past.
However! My sister is being inseminated as we speak (in a clinical way - not a nsfw way) and since I can't really tell anyone who knows her about that... I decided to tell you all! I guess her POAS day would be August 16th. Can I join the thread as a ttc lurker myself and my sister's representative? -

So I had a dream last night in which I got a BFP. Hoping that is a good omen! I may be a little off about my DPO. I got a pretty positive OPK on 7/24, so I would normally have estimated that I O'd on 7/25. BUT I got another positive OPK on the morning of
7/25. That was the first time I have had a pos in the morning. I have still been counting O day as 7/25 but it may have been 7/26. So today I am 9 or 8 DPO.I am probably going to do a FRER sometime this weekend because I'm a POAS addict & I don't think I can wait any longer. My LP is usually no more than 12-13 days anyway.
How is everyone else feeling this month?
