I start back to work on Monday. It'll only be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8-12 until May, but that doesn't make leaving my baby any easier!! I'll be able to ease back into work though so I'm glad. I'm as ready as I'll ever be I guess. 7 weeks old just seems too little to be away from mama.
Can't believe I only have this week left with him. This whole time I wasn't expecting to go back until May, so it's kind of a shock!

I went back to work full time on a Monday - had a really good ugly cry on the Thursday before, and then felt much better.

The first day/ week is the worst! It will get better though!!! And think of how excited you will be when you get home! hugs. I have been there- and it stinks!

I went back on a Thursday and definitely ugly cried the day before. But it was the best decision for us. The first day is the hardest, but you'll make it through.

You'll do great! I was super sad/nervous leading up to my return date but the ugly cry didn't hit until a few days in and totally caught me off guard!

I went back to work 5 week to the day after DD2 was born. It was a Monday, also.
I promise you, the anticipation is worse than anything else. I mean obviously I didn't enjoy myself being away from her, but everything worked out and she was watched by someone who loved her.
You're a great mommy. We are all rooting for you. Good luck and enjoy these last few days before you go back.

My boss said I was the bomb for coming back early. So I asked him if the bomb got a pay raise. He said maybe.
I said maybe is better than no. Lol
