DS is 14 weeks old, and nighttime sleep has been a nightmare the last two weeks. I'll give him a bath, nurse him, then turn on the white noise machine and hold him until he falls asleep (usually takes 2 minutes). As soon as i transfer him to the crib, he wakes up crying and i have to pick him up and repeat the process...usually taking over 2 hours.

I've tried making sure he falls asleep within 2 hours of waking up from his last nap, then 1.5 hours. He doesn't protest falling asleep. Putting him in the crib sleepy does not work. Letting him fuss doesn't work (his cries escalate very quickly). Did anyone else go through around this time? We went through this with DD, but it happened at the 4.5 month mark and we used modified CIO.
