I had two medicated IUI cycles, the second one was successful. I used Follistim, which is an injectible. I was a slow responder so I had to stim for about 3 weeks each time. The first time resulted in one mature follice, the second I had four. The second was almost converted to an IVF but we decided we would take our chances. So glad we did!

I too had success with my second medicated IUI cycle. I used Gonal-F and HCG trigger. My clinic monitored me very closely, I don't think I had more than 2 mature follicles for either cycle. It was a lot of work bc DD1 was 2yo at the time, so it was a lot of early morning schleps to the hospital. Probably a coincidence but our successful cycle coincided with the month she started daycare.

I did not have success with my IUIs and ended up going on to IVF. I had 3 IUIs - well actually had 5 IUI cycles, but two were cancelled prior to the actual IUI. 4 cycles were with Femara and 1 was with injectibles (menopur, granilex and a trigger shot). I did have success with my first IVF cycle.

I had three medicated IUIs (Clomid and Ovidrel). I had a chemical pregnancy with the first one, and BFNs for the second and third. Still TTC and crossing my fingers, toes and eyes that 2014 is the year for us.

I have had 2 failed IUI so far. Doing my last one soon before going to IVF. I, also, had 3 IUI cycles where I started on medication (femera) and my cycles were cancelled because of enlarged follicles (possible cysts) and the two other we're cancelled because my DH was unable to produce a sample for the IUI. We are very hopeful that the IUIs won't be cancelled for DH's issue because my dr is allowing us to freeze his sperm to use as a back up, if he can't give a fresh sample.
Oh, my diagnosis is unknown. My DH has had low morphology but the IUIs should have helped with that.
Oh, I created another thread to share IF success. http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/babies-of-iui-and-ivf-or-infertility
It can give us all hope that we will be mothers soon.

I had 4 failed IUIs: 3 with Clomid & Ovidrel, one with Femara, all with progesterone support in the luteal phase.

No success stories, but we are moving to IUI soon. Hopefully I will be one!

I have an IUI success story! I was on meds (injections- Gonal F, Ovidrel trigger shot, progesterone) and we were so fortunate to have our first one take! My 6-month-old twins are sleeping as I type

I did 3 IUIs with Clomid, the 3rd resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. I then had success with my 1st IUI with injectables (Follistim and Ovidrel).

I had success with my 3rd IUI with clomid. Our diagnosis was unexplained infertility. My DS is 15 months old. Good luck!

We're on our 2nd IUI this month. The first one was natural (no drugs) and didn't take (I just had one mature follicle). I started clomid this cycle (days 5-9), and then went into the office for monitoring (bloodwork and ultrasounds to check for mature follicles) on days 11, 12 and 13. I had 2, maybe 3 mature follicles this time, did the trigger shot and then the procedure was this past Friday. So, now we wait! The actual process is pretty easy - uncomfortable, but not painful - just like a pap smear. I ovulate on my own, so the clomid was just to increase the odds of more follicles and more eggs!

I don't have a success story unfortunately. We had 3 IUI's + Clomid with no success. I ovulate without clomid but our RE wanted me to take it to increase our chances. He recommended 3-6 IUI's, before moving on to IVF, but we think we are just going to move straight to IVF in the late winter/early spring hopefully.
Edit: We had been trying for just over a year and a half before our first IUI and will have been trying for about 2.5 years before IVF.

We had our first IUI last month with Clomid that ended in one mature follicle but no pregnancy. This cycle, we have four mature follicles, triggered last night, and the IUI is tomorrow! Crossing our fingers!

we did a round of clomid and didn't get pregnant. second round of clomid we did an iui and got pregnant, but i miscarried at almost 9 weeks. it was pretty devastating because we had had so many ultrasounds by that point since we were seeing an re.
eventually we conceived without any fertility treatments.

I had succes with my first IUi. I had a failed Clomid cycle before it. I have Ovulation issues. For my IUI I took 100 mg of Clomid for five days, than a few days later I had a Gonal-F injectin followed by a an Ovidrel Trigger shot a few days later than IUi 36 hours after the Trigger. It worked. I'm the mom of an 11 month old now. I was monitored closely during my cycle with bloodwork and ultrasound. I was almost cancelled for follies being slow to grow but then we went ahead. I tend have to take estrace as a suppository to boast my lining and then I stayed on that and Progestrone until 8 weeks I think.

I had success with my first IUI. I had 2 failed injection cycles w/ timed intercourse. For my third injection round, I decided to make it an IUI cycle. I had my RE bump up my meds (225 iu of menopur) for that round to increase my chances. That round was almost cancelled b/c I had 4 follies and was at risk of OHSS. But, they changed my trigger from Ovidrel to HCG and gave me some meds to help with the OHSS (I never got it) and that round worked. My little dude is now 8.5 months old.
I was also on progesterone until about week 8 or so.
