Speaking of unused meds, as illegal as it may be, I dont want these expensive meds going to waste! Does anyone use/want Endometrim? I have a full box unused that expires this Dec. I'll happily ship to anyone in the US.

@PurplePumps: I'll take them, if that is ok? I do have one box, but will need more for my fet. Thanks!
I don't think giving them away is illegal, just selling? But really, I have no idea!

@NorthStar: Yea, of course! Shoot me an email at pinkshoes008@gmail.com with your info. I can get to the post office on Sat.

@PurplePumps: Just sent! Thank you
How are you feeling? Is your ultrasound next week? SO excited for you!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
Got it! The ultrasound is the week after next. I got antsy and POAS again this morning haha. Relieved to see a nice much darker line than last week but still on edge. My husband was just saying how stressful this still is and asking when it'll be safe to get excited. This is worse than the stims and tww for me! At least for those I didn't really have expectations and was more pessimistic... but now that it could actually happen, I'm so scared!

@PurplePumps: There is absolutely no reason why this pregnancy isn't strong and viable. Today, you are most definitely pregnant. You are doing everything you possibly can! Those were my mantras for the first few weeks
Also, Crinone is gross. I googled frantically until I realized it's normal for it to build up in there and come out when it feels like it (and for it to be brownish). I'll continue to stalk this thread for any more pregnancy after IVF questions, especially those "TMI" ones

@PurplePumps: I think there will always be a reason to stress and you can always think about things that can go wrong - even after the baby born and all through your child's life! So try to just relax now and enjoy. For myself - I was able to relax more than I stressed somewhere around the 10 week ultrasound when the baby was kicking around!
I'm still so excited for you!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@agold: That's true. I'm pretty anxious to get to about that point to see an embryo and heart beat.
The stress level is high this morning, I was spotting when I got up this morning. All the discharge was brownish and every time I wipe its all pink. I just scheduled the u/s for the 18th. 1 week 4 days... but who's counting?
pear / 1986 posts
@PurplePumps: Hoping this week+ goes by really fast so you can get in for that U/S and feel a little bit better!
Had my lining check this morning and it was good. Should get a call this afternoon about starting PIO, medrol, and antibiotics. Less than a week to go! My acupuncture appointments are set up for Tuesday night and Wednesday night for before and after transfer. DH's trip to Switzerland may not be until early May now, so that's a relief. At least we will know one way or the other before he heads out of town.

@PurplePumps: I'm hoping the next 1 week and 4 days go as fast as can be expected. Are you taking any suppositories? If so, I've heard that they can lead to irritation and some spotting. If not, I'm sure that it is just normal for your body changing.
@GreenThumb: YAY! You are getting so close! It sounds like you are setup perfectly for your transfer and it will be here SO soon!
AFM - received my frozen transfer packet in the mail yesterday. It's still awhile away, but it's going to be a crazy month, so will come up quickly. Have any of you had an endometrial scratch done? If so, was it painful and did you take anything ahead of time? I left a VM for my nurseline asking if I am supposed to take anything prior.

Holy crap ladies I had 6 measurable follicles this morning!!!! I’m so shocked! I couldn’t even wait for my E2 results to share with you! The big one on the left is now 13mm, but I have 5 follicles about 9 mm on 'The Ninja' and another one almost big enough to measure on the left!!!! I’m estatic! I’m actually slightly optimistic that we might get to ER this time! Super happy I trusted my doc about the Long Lupron- who’d have thought it (well, besides her!)? I’m hoping that even if the big one is a lead follicle, they will let me let that one go and collect the group. Fingers crossed!!

@Aqualov: That is amazing!! I'm so excited and happy for you! Will you find out if you have to change your dosages at all and when is your next appointment?
cherry / 107 posts
@NorthStar: thanks:) The doc will portal me tthis afternoon with instructions, but I doubt they'll change my meds since it took me 14 days at max dose to get this far lol. My next monitoring appt is Saturday morning.

@PurplePumps: Hope this time goes quickly for you! the U/s will be here before you know it!
@GreenThumb: woo hoo! one week to go!
@NorthStar: I had a scratch done, and then the biopsy (which is essentially the same thing). I didn't take anything and didn't think it was that bad at all (and I usually have a LOW pain threshold).
@Aqualov: WOW! great numbers!! hoping you get to retrieve all of those this cycle!

@PurplePumps: I'm so sorry about your spotting. I bled, spotted and clotted until about week 14. Its awful but somewhere around week 9 I just got used to it and then one day I realized it had stopped. Tell your doctor about it and just take it easy. I've heard that this is common with IVF pregnancies. I'm hoping its nothing for you to be worried about.

@PurplePumps: Another one who spotted loads here this time around too. *hugs*
@agold: How are you doing lady?

@jaguar: Hi! I'm doing as good as I can be! I'm still emotionally scarred by IVF and I can't help but think about baby #2 and how long we will try naturally as opposed to how soon I want to sign up for IVF round 2. But now at almost 21 weeks with this baby girl I feel like I'm turning a corner and think about what I had to do to conceive her less and less. I'm really hoping to put it behind me forever. Hopefully once I have baby #2 I will feel that way. I peek in on your sometimes and I'm so glad to see that Olaf and growing and thriving. How are you doing???
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@agold: So far ok, just anxiously awaiting genetic testing NIPT results .... I just can't shake something will be wrong because we've had the worst luck in the past. BUT baby is amazing, I sneak listens on the doppler & that heartbeat still blows me mind.
You'd think I'd be calmer after already having Georgia, but nope, this is insane! x

@agold: when you say bled... bled bled? Red? I just had a huge gush of bright red blood ... :'(
kiwi / 613 posts
@PurplePumps: I'm sorry to hear about the bleeding! I know how stressful that can be. Perhaps it's a subchorionic hematoma? Those can cause bright red bleeding and scary gushes of blood in the first trimester. If it keeps up, hopefully you can get in for an early scan to see what's up. Best of luck that this is just harmless bleeding!
grapefruit / 4045 posts
@PurplePumps: yes, bled. Two weeks after my first positive test I had cramping late one night followed by what felt like a dumping of blood. I literally felt a gush of blood. That happened numerous times thereafter. Maybe like a shot glass worth of blood. Once I had clots. It's very scary. But please know that it doesn't always mean something bad. My issues resolved and never really had a cause given. I'm wishing you all the best. Ask me any questions you have because this is all still fresh in my mind.
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@PurplePumps: I've been in hospital for three separate red gushing events... and lots of spotting in between those, all colours. It's so terrifying. *hugs*
persimmon / 1114 posts
@PurplePumps: lurker here, and have shared my story a ton, but will again in case it helps. After my FET I had bright red, clotty, heavy bleeding at almost 6 weeks (like 3 pads/3 hours worth). I thought for sure it was over, but it was a subchorionic hematoma. It happened again at 9 weeks. Seriously it was one of the scariest things that ever happened to me, but it turned out to be ok. Hopefully that is all it is for you!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@momazon: @agold: @jaguar: @bloved: thank you so much for the reassurance. Geez, went does this have to be so darn stressful! So the bleeding typically lasted a few hours when it happened?
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@PurplePumps: Yep, a few hours (gradually slowed after initial gushes) - I had one at 5.5 weeks, one at 8 weeks & another at 9 weeks. Each time, no 'cause' for the bleeds that they could see. xx
persimmon / 1114 posts
@PurplePumps: yup. My first one was from about 9 to midnight. The second one was a few hours too, but I don't remember exactly how long.
Eta- my first one never slowed down from gushing (like I would cough (sob) or something and a whole gush would come out even if lying down) until it pretty much stopped. My second one was an initial gush and then tapered down to spotting/nothing...
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@jaguar: @bloved: aahhh! How did you stay sane! My doctor is sending me in for an ultrasound and blood work today. It seems to be stopping though. More like a drippy faucet now when i go pee.
persimmon / 1114 posts
@PurplePumps: I am not sure I did! I honestly will say it took me a long time to connect with this pregnancy bc I was constantly worried. Wishing you lots of luck at your u/s today!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@Aqualov: I totally have the TMNT chant in my head now! "Go ninja, go ninja, go!!!!"
Just a bit of light pink now when I wipe. Hopefully that's the last of it. Thank goodness for you ladies and my awesome doctor for keeping me from a total freak out last night.
I just gotta say I seriously love my doctor. He's in Taiwan taking a month off during the transition (the whole headache with the clinic close and switching hands and him leaving it to go elsewhere) and he still replies to my emails with in 10-20 minutes no matter when I seem to email him! I had a minor freak out at the pharmacy one time cause they didn't want to give me the estrace and letrozole to take together when prepping for the FET, and I could reach him no problem via his cell. For a remote doctor, he's seems to be "closer" and more available than any local doctor I've had!
pear / 1986 posts
@PurplePumps: I'm glad to hear that the bleeding is a bay right now. And I'm sorry that you are going through that . How awesome is your doctor?! He sounds amazing! Glad you will get in for the U/S today!!
@Aqualov: Sounds like things are really moving in the right direction for you this time!! I'm so happy to hear that ! Hoping the E2 was on track, too! You are almost at trigger!
@NorthStar: I had an endometrial biopsy (is that different from the scratch, I think so) and I was really worried about it being painful. But it was recommended that I take I think ibuprofen before the procedure and I didn't feel a thing! I hope the same goes for you!!
AFM: Last Lupron was yesterday, first progesterone today! I'm on PIO and Endometrin, and Medrol, and antibiotics, and estrogen patches, so there is a lot to keep track of between now and Wednesday! Got it all on my google calendar so that I get reminders on my phone and computer
pear / 1881 posts
@PurplePumps: I'm so sorry that you are having bleeding and it's ok to be scared. I do hope that it's what the other ladies are saying and isn't anything major. I do have to say that your doctor sounds amazing! I don't even have a direct line to my doctor at the clinic, let alone her cell phone number. He sounds wonderful!
@GreenThumb: oh my gosh, yes, that is a lot to remember and keep track of! Have you had to do PIO before?
AFM - I'm trying to eat better and doing the 21 day fix, but man, is it hard! We are still in tax season and there are treats and free food everywhere! I'm doing my best, but am not perfect. I just have to remember that is ok and anything that I do accomplish is considered a bonus.
cherry / 107 posts
@endymion4: @GreenThumb: @PurplePumps: Thanks:)
@PurplePumps: hahahaha, I have it in my head now too, thanks a lot! That's awesome about your doctor.
@GreenThumb: I hope so. My doc seems pretty sure I'll stim through the weekend (at least), but it's closer than I've ever been before! Also, I have all my meds and doctor's appointments in my Google Calendar so my phone reminds me a s well:)
pear / 1986 posts
@NorthStar: Yup! PIO has been a part of every transfer (fresh or FET) so DH has a lot of practice! But this is the first time I've done Endometrin. Not looking forward to that .
And I totally agree that anything you do in terms of eating better is a good thing. Treats are inevitable (and not a bad thing). I can't be so strict at this point in the IF game, so I figure better is good enough!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
Ah, no ultrasound today, but bleeding stopped . The lady that does them where I've been going isn't in today and i don't really have time to find and go to another. I'm waiting to hear back if I should go Monday. Still getting the blood work done though.
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@NorthStar: LOL! I hear ya on the snacks and food. There has been SO much stuff at work for some reason... people just leave cookies, cupcakes, and candy around and they look sooooooo good! I can't help but eat 1 (or 2...).
pear / 1881 posts
@PurplePumps: so much food! cookies and bars this morning (I didn't have any!), italian beef sandwiches for lunch today (yesterday was Panera boxed lunches and the day before was pizza). It never ends! I did bring my own lunch, but when I look at what is available and then my grilled chicken, sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. um, yeah, what do you think I choose?!
I sure hope that they can get you answers soon and all is ok. It is hard going into a weekend and wondering what if, but it is definitely normal! I have one friend that has a low lying placenta and has had a few bleeds and needs to take it easy. If you have to wait until Monday, try to get some rest this weekend and don't do too much.
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@NorthStar: damn, that's some will power you got. I can resist from buying the junk food, but when it's on a platter in front of me for free.... I cave. I just found scones and muffins here about 30 minutes ago too. yummmmmmm. My husband is already trying to stop me from eating these sweets and junk. We were at a museum in DC and we saw this thing about babies and food, and how studies had shown that the babies start to get a "taste" for food based on what mom ate when she was pregnant. Like moms who had a huge variety of veggies were linked to kids that were more likely to eat veggies. So now he's like NO sweets for you! Veggies and healthy stuff only!
