I get to trigger for the first time tonight! My dominant follicle is still intact and has only grown from 18 Saturday to 20.5 today. My others are 18, 17, 16.5, 15, 14.5, 13 an 10. So a possibility of maybe 4-6 mature at retrieval on Thursday? DH has his mTESE scheduled tomorrow afternoon. I'm not allowing myself to hope unless/until it's successful. At least I made it to trigger this cycle, but it's all for nothing if we don't get sperm. Fingers crossed!

@Aqualov: I think I usually got everything over 14 on retrieval day so that looks promising! Everything crossed for you and your DH the next 2 days!

You guys, I just had to share... we got our NIPT results back (I'm 13+3) and we're all good, and having another little girl. Can't believe it!

@GreenThumb: i used to work at MGH! i can't wait to go back and visit this summer with DD.
@Aqualov: Happy trigger! (have you ever been so happy to get a shot ;))? Fingers crossed that all goes well with hubby's procedure tomorrow!!
@jaguar: YAY!!!!!!! so sweet to have sisters!! (and less stuff you'll need to buy after all the IF $$, so that's a bonus, too ;)).

@jaguar: awww, sisters!
@endymion4: Oh! You're a Bostonian too?? I didn't know that! Where about are you?

@PurplePumps: Hi from another Bostonian. Went to Boston IVF in Waltham.

@PurplePumps: I was temporarily a Bostonian for about 8 years, and I miss it so very much!

@YogiRunner: I remember you I was just thinking about you recently cause I had a huge spat with CVS specialty. I take it back that they weren't a pain in the ass!! Them and my health insurance was giving me the run around pointing fingers at each other about coverage (turned out I didn't have any, but if they could explain it right in the first place, instead of telling me the coverage would be through health ins... and then health ins telling me, no it's all through CVS). But then they told me I had NO coverage for ANYTHING that was ordered on the list cause it was all for fertility and I already hit my max. Turns out it wasn't all under fertility and I had coverage for some of it, specifically the crinone so I ended up paying OOP for my first months supply. Then something didn't sound right and I called back a month later and the told me it IS covered with a copay. Ugh. at least I found out before I ordered my next 2 months supply.

@Aqualov: oh my gosh, that is SO amazing! I'm so excited for you that all appears to be lining up and praying that your husband's surgery goes well today!
@jaguar: YAY! I read your blog and saw your update this morning. I am beyond excited for you and it gives me so much hope that we will get there soon. Sisters are awesome!

@PurplePumps: ugh, CVS caremark was the bane of my existence! Nothing like the added stress of jumping through hoops to get your meds approved and delivered in time for every single cycle. My RE and the nurses hated working with them and could never understand what the hold up was. I'm glad it finally worked out for you and you've got your cheaper crinone!

@GreenThumb: Those look wonderful! You are PUPO! Get some rest and let those embies get comfy!

@GreenThumb: Wow! Is that a pic of them hatching?? That is so cool!

@agold: @bloved: @NorthStar: @endymion4: @PurplePumps: Thank you so much! I'm feeling so hopeful with this cycle and can't believe they were so far along in hatching this morning, especially since it was unassisted. The embryologist warned of multiples... oh, to have that "problem" after all these failures would be wonderful. I'm just praying that we get a

@GreenThumb: guess they were just anxious to get a head start on snuggling up with you!
apricot / 365 posts
@GreenThumb: did you have genetic testing? I can't remember. I hope they both get nice and cozy in there. Those definitely look like embryos that are going to stick!
anyone use lovenox? does the burn get any better? i get anxious every night before that shot on the plus side, when i went to get my refill (which costs us around $500 for 12 shots :(), they had accidentally put 30 in there instead of 12! and when i called i was told that once meds leave the pharmacy they can't be returned so i got to keep them at that price. Score

@GreenThumb: These are some of the coolest pictures. So you did a DET? :o Wow!

@Aqualov: Oh no, I'm so sorry. Can you still retrieve and freeze your eggs? Is there hope to retrieve sperm if he trys mTESE again later?
cherry / 107 posts
@PurplePumps: Yes I will freeze my eggs in a pointless retrieval tomorrow morning so I don't get OHSS. We only had 20-30% odds this time. Odds of success at another would be basically zero, and DH would never agree to it,

@Aqualov: ugh, there are no words. I wish you and your husband much strength and peace right now to deal with this news.

@Aqualov: I am so very sorry. thinking of you today and in the coming days as you deal with this.

@Aqualov: oh no, I am so so sorry I too send you strength in deciding what is next.

@Aqualov: I am so, so sorry. We are here for you!
@endymion4: I am on lovenox, and I hate to say it, but no, for me the burning had not gotten better. Some nights are worse than others, but at least it subsides in a couple of minutes. I said to DH it is like getting a bee sting every single night. Oh the things we do... Also, no, we did not do any testing on the embryos, just hoping for the best.
@jaguar: Yup, went for the double! Also, a huge congratulations on your little girl and great test results. So happy for you!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@GreenThumb: Well, with those two beautiful embabies, I am SO SO excited for you!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Aqualov: Oh hon, I am totally blindsided by this. I'm so sorry. What a blow. *hugs*

@GreenThumb: Your embies are lovely and I hope they are the stickiest ever and snuggling in ... both of them!
@endymion4: Holy moly! What a hail mary this is turning into! Keep chuggin', little one! How are you feeling, other than the bee stings?!
@PurplePumps: How are you doing?!?
pear / 1986 posts
@endymion4: You went for the Friday beta!! Wahoo!! Congratulations - that is an amazing number!!!
@Amorini: @jaguar: Thank you!! I'm already going crazy and it is only 2dpt .
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@Amorini: Ugggh, trying to keep optimistic until the next u/s on Wed. I'm still bleeding on and off since last week and it's just getting annoying! My doc prescribed me some extra oral progesterone to take to see if that would settle things down. So far... no.
grapefruit / 4045 posts
@endymion4: That's a fantastic first number! Please remind me if you transferred one or two embryos?
@PurplePumps: So sorry you are still having bleeding.

Thanks! this is my 4th time being pregnant in the last two years, so I'm going to be a wreck until u/s (and beyond as they've usually been losses at 8-10 weeks). Hope this is our time for a pregnancy that sticks!

@endymion4: whoa!! That is an awesome number!!! Yay!! Congrats and stay sticky little bean!!!
Afm I had my saline sonogram and scratch in Thursday. Everything looks good. The scratch hurt like a mother f, but it was short lived. Had some cramping the remainder of the day, but not horrible. This mornings agenda is to call around to pharmacies and get quotes for my meds. They all called me yesterday, but I was traveling.
