Our 1st beta was scheduled 13dpt--definitely feel you on the late betas when everyone else's seem so early!!
we are way too nervous and emotionally spent to feel too invested just yet, so spent the weekend with a whole lot of family time with DD to keep us distracted (though the long hike we took this am has really wiped me out for the day!).

OMG you guys! I just found out that a friend had her transfer on Thursday - just a day after me! She is pretty hush hush about IF, so it was actually our DH's who chatted about it. Praying that we both get

@NorthStar: I've been crampy pretty consistently since the day after. We've had chemicals 3 out of 4 transfers (most likely chromosomal issues), so I'm just so hopeful we get beyond that this time! My clinic does betas so late, so mine isn't scheduled until Monday the 25th (12dpt). Ugh!

@GreenThumb: mostly just things that can be explained by the meds (tired, occasional nausea, hungry but bloated, constipated), so i feel like i'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop

as for us here, started spotting this afternoon and feeling a bit like i had the wind knocked out of me

@endymion4: Spotting is so, so common! You had such a great beta, I know that Monday's will be good too. What are you using for progesterone support? I've heard that the suppositories can irritate the cervix and often that is the reason for spotting. Hugs!

@GreenThumb: Thanks! we'll see what happens the next few hours as it's getting heavier. i'm using endometrin suppositories, but used those the previous 2 cycles and for the biopsy and never had any bleeding from it

I am feeling much more calm this morning. Ready to see what today's beta tells us, and either way, we have plans to go out to dinner and a concert tonight, so that will be a good distraction!

@endymion4: That's a great first beta! Has the spotting stopped? Good luck with todays betas.AFM and bleeding: I had another huge gush blood Sat night, but last night was the first night since last Tue that I wasn't bleeding/spotting and nothing this morning. A full 24 hrs for the first time in a week. (Hope I don't jinx myself by saying that!) 2 more days for the next scan to take a look.......

progesterone--what level is the cutoff for everyone else's clinic when they check hcg + progesterone? ours is 10, but seems low from what I've seen others write. mine dropped from 18 friday to 14 today

@endymion4: Neither my old RE nor my new RE (different clinics) even check progesterone with the betas, which drives me crazy!! They both "convinced" me that I'm on enough support not to worry about it. So, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you unless your doctor is worried.
Sounds ok to me. I've heard the 10 rule, too.
