@dookie32: Thank you! This cycle has been so much more relaxing due to less appointments and driving around. Our RE is 2.5 hours away, so the fresh cycles take a toll on me. Was your 2nd transfer fresh or a FET? I'm sorry! I don't remember..too many ladies here to keep track of.

@GreenThumb: oh yeah, putting all weight on the non-shot side while standing is also key. Keep the injection side as relaxed as possible!

@NorthStar: Both of mine were FETs since we did PGD. With the first one I had no vacation days left so I had to work the next day (albeit from home but it was not relaxing). This time I took the day off, binged watched some HBO Go, and then hubby and I went to a movie where I had popcorn and Panera cookies for dinner :). My philosophy was doing whatever made me relaxed and happy. There's obviously no proof why 1 failed and why 1 worked but that was the biggest difference between the 2 transfers.

Hi all...transfer went super smoothly yesterday and now I'm back at work. It's so bizarre tome that the transfer is the easiest/quickest part of this whole process, ya know? Last cycle (that failed) I took the approach of "it's not big deal" and carried on with my life as usual--picking up my daughter, going for a walk right after transfer. But that failure was so devastating and now I don't know what to do. I felt a ton of cramping and stretching last time too so I was so sure I was pregnant. I have felt no cramping so far and that is weird and so I'm afraid I'm feeling a little negative already. Ugh it's such a mind game and so frustrating. Our blast looked great though--I'll try to remember to post tomorrow. 12 more days til beta....
Hope everyone else is doing well!

@NorthStar: holy hatchling!! FX!
That is such a cool pic.
@Mrs. Pajamas:
FX!
2.5 post D&C, halle-freaking-lujah the bleeding has finally complete stopped! My poor lady parts were really getting tired of those damn pads. I had dinner reservations with my friends last Friday that we had made 2.5 months ago 2 days before my transfer so I knew in my mind that was supposed to be 12 weeks and I had been planning to announce then. So it was a little sad to have that stuck in my mind and to be downing drinks instead. That's the last big thing that I knew the timing of, so at least there will be no more even reminder here on out.
pear / 1881 posts
@Mrs. Pajamas: Sounds like all went well!! I didn't have any cramping the day of the transfer and it wasn't until 30 hours or so after the transfer that I felt that bolt of lightening. Just try to take it easy, but walking is good to keep blood circulation to the uterus.
@PurplePumps: Thank you! Thank god the bleeding finally stopped! wow..I'm sorry you had a rough dinner Have you decided when you will do your next cycle?
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@NorthStar: We'll do a scan July 5th right after I get back from vacation to see where I'm at since I decided not to go with birth control to suppress. If my ovaries still aren't doing anything, we'll start that night. If there is a dominant follicle, we'll start Aug.

@Mrs. Pajamas: It really is such a mind game. Good luck Will you test before beta?
@PurplePumps: Ugh the wait to finish bleeding was the worst. Im glad it's done and you can enjoy vacation without a suitcase of pads.
Sorry if I missed it, did you ever get the results back of the tested fetal tissue?
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@SweetiePie: Not yet. I just found out they said there wasn't enough tissue to test, but my OB said to try anyways. So it's STILL another 2-4 weeks to get results back, if they get any.

@SweetiePie: I couldn't even stand while getting the PIO shot. My sister did it once for me that way and my whole body jerked. The only way I could do it was while lying down. So high maintenance of me!
@Mrs. Pajamas: I'm so glad the transfer went smoothly and you were able to take one day and relax. Good luck and I'm so hoping this one is it for you!
@PurplePumps: I'm glad you have a vacation and a plan in place to look forward to.

@PurplePumps: So glad the bleeding finally stopped! It sounds like you have a great plan! The vacation sounds like it's coming at the perfect time!!
@Mrs. Pajamas: So exciting! Glad you were able to relax and take it easy! Take it one day at a time! Praying for you!
@NorthStar: How are you feeling?

@Mrs. Pajamas: The cycles I thought I was pregnant, I wasn't. This time around I had zero symptoms. *hugs*
@PurplePumps: I'm so sorry, the reminders are hard. I'm so happy that your bleeding has stopped. Onwards and upwards, my lovely friend.

@Winnie13: I'm doing good. Pretty tired, but it could be the meds. A twinge here or there, but nothing like Wednesday night.

Thanks to everyone for your support! I definitely perked up over the weekend but am still trying to take it easy and only lifting my DD into her crib at night. Wanted to share a photo of our embryo since these pictures are just amazing, aren't they? Hoping this little one is getting cozy! Hugs to everyone!

@NorthStar: OMG! Hooray!!! So excited for you!! When is your beta test scheduled???

@NorthStar: Yes!!! So wonderful - Congratulations!!! Can't wait for your beta!
@Mrs. Pajamas: Beautiful embryo!!
pear / 1881 posts
@agold: @Amorini: @GreenThumb: Thanks! I realize that it is still early, but getting a line with mid-day pee on a cheapie is pretty good on 6 days past transfer, right? I haven't told DH yet. I kind of want to see what a FRER would show in the morning first, but I thought that cheapies were less sensitive? I haven't even cried yet cause I can't believe it's even real
honeydew / 7463 posts
@NorthStar: yay yay yay! It's early but definitely not too early to see something! And that looks pretty good for 6dp5dt. It's not even a squinter!
pear / 1881 posts
@agold: ok, for some reason, I cannot edit my post. Realized that I forget to say when my beta is scheduled - Thursday morning. I'm doing the blood draw locally. They need to send results to my RE, so hopefully that happens more timely this time. Last cycle, I didn't get the call with results until the next day.

@Mrs. Pajamas: good luck to you!
@NorthStar: looking good mama!!!! Best wishes for a fabulous beta!
@Winnie13: good luck to you friend. I hope your journey here is short and sweet. Glad to see things are rolling right along and you don't have to wait too long to get everything started.

@Delight: Thank you so much! It's crazy how fast we got the ball rolling! We are overwhelmed with emotion, but we feel very positive for July!! How are you doing?

@Winnie13: I'm feeling good! All the best to you. I just like popping my head in here once in awhile to see how everyone is doing.

@NorthStar: Thursday will come fast and I hope, too, that you get the call with the results quickly! I can't wait to hear how you tell your husband.

@Mrs. Pajamas: I have been thinking of you!! How are you feeling? I wasn't sure when your beta is and if you will test early.
kiwi / 702 posts
@NorthStar: How sweet! I've had headaches yesterday and today that are super draining. I hate that I can't take Advil because Tylenol does not work! Other than that I'm OK...anxious of course. Strangely enough I have never taken a HPT in my entire TTC journey and feel like it would jinx anything if I did so I will probably hold out until my beta next Wed (6/15). Seems super late compared to others (13dp5dt) but at least they'll know for sure! Did you test again today?
pear / 1881 posts
@Mrs. Pajamas: oh wow! Good signs, though! My beta is 9 days past transfer, so yeah that does seem late. Bummer, but yes, at least you would know!! That is quite a strong will for not ever testing! My hats off to you! I didn't test much and usually only with cheapies (Wondfos). But, I did do a FRER this morning and yep, a positive! I'll wait to test again on Thursday morning cause i have a digital that I would like to try out.

Hey ladies... I was away for a few days and didn't really get a chance to join in. I started Estradiol, the generic form of Estrace last night and had bloodwork yesterday that showed I was post ovulatory. I should be getting my period next week and stimming will most likely begin end of next week. This. Is. Actually. Happening.
I'm nervous.
I spoke with my RE this morning and went over the protocol. I feel good. My husband had two Semen analysis done over the last two weeks and first one he showed low morphology and in the second one everything looked perfect. The re suggested we wait until he provides a sample the day of retrieval to see if all looks ok and if all does look ok, we won't proceed with ICSI.
Has anyone heard of estrogen priming protocol?
pear / 1881 posts
@LoveHope: YAY!! So exciting that you are starting soon. I have not done the estrogen priming protocol, but hopefully, someone will check in and give you some insight. Otherwise, post on the main boards and more people might see it.
@ballerinabee: Thank you!! I do remember you.. how are you doing?
@LoveHope: @dookie32: @SweetiePie: Thank you!
Has anyone had to purchase Endometrin or Estrace (they won't let me do generic)? If so, best place for good pricing? I'm doing Freedom for the next few weeks of endometrin, but it's about $8/applicator, so $336 for a 2 week supply. Estrace was $125 for a one week supply. I don't know why I can't do generic on that one..dang RE.
