So hopefully you all have the same cynical sense of humor about fertility that I do now so you will be amused by this little story from shot time last night.
DH does all my shots but he feels SO bad about it if I wince/flinch even a little bit. He was totally hesitating last night for the PIO and I was like "honey, come on, just stick it in and get it over with". The shots really don't bother me and I was ready to go to bed and be done with it. And his response was "well that's probably how a lot of people get pregnant!".

@Mrs. Pajamas: HAHA! I'm pretty sure I've said that to him in the other context too... like trying the "normal" way when we were too tired.
@SweetiePie: omg, I'd go NUTS waiting 8 days. That's crazzzzzy!!! I got day 1, 3, 5, and 6 updates. Why would they need to wait until 8?!! Don't they biopsy on 5 or 6 when it gets to blasts??
I may test Thur. My husband is out of town until Wed, so I'm going to stay with my parents so I won't be testing there. But I'm trying to hold out until Fri cause if it's just too early and I see a negative, I'm just gonna be so bummed. If I' m gonna have to see another negative test, I want it to be a real one odd as that sounds.

@Mrs. Pajamas: So true!! Wishing you all the best tomorrow!!
@SweetiePie: Hoping you don't have to wait 8 days!!!
I don't know when I'm going to test. My Beta isn't until 12dp, so definitely before then! I can't wait that long! I'm thinking Thursday, that would be 7dp or maybe even I'm feeling wild and crazy, Wednesday!

Beta this morning was 330 at 12 days past transfer. Yay! So excited! Thinking sticky thoughts...

@Winnie13: When I've had positives, they've always shown up by then (I only waited till day 5 on most but the day 7 positives were much darker). Good luck! I have no willpower for testing.

@momazon: Yay!!! That's awesome!!! Praying for you!!
That gives me hope! Maybe I'll test tomorrow!!

@momazon: yay!!! Great news!
@Winnie13: @momazon: I got my faint bfp at 4dp5dt! 7dp5dt was unmistakable for me.
So excited for all of the upcoming testers

I ended up asking my nurses for an update and they just called back. Yesterday was day 3 and we still had 6 growing!

@momazon: WOOOO!! So excited for you!
@SweetiePie: 6 still growing? That's amazing numbers! Especially considering the beginning of your cycle - crossing my fingers that all 6 make it to testing
We're still a week and a half away from transfer day so nothing new or exciting going on here (in terms of TTC/IVF anyways)

@SweetiePie: That's wonderful news!! So happy to hear that! I'm definitely getting excited/nervous to text tomorrow! I had some very mild cramping on 1-2 dp, but today has been the worst day... I felt some stabbing pains and then crampy... like I'm about to start... I'm trying not to get discouraged. I thought the embies would have implanted by now! Does this sound normal?
pear / 1881 posts
@Winnie13: Those cramps are totally normal! I had a ton of cramping and pulling up until my beta (at 9DP5DT) and even for several days after. Good luck tomorrow!

@sweetiepie @momazon both amazing news! Keep growing embies!
Transfer went pretty well. I'm exhausted but hopeful. Embryo is hatching! Beta is on the 7th the day before we leave for Italy!

Well... I tested last night and again this morning at 6dp5dt and I got a very faint BFP!! I'm in shock and praying that this baby sticks! I'm cautiously optimistic and hopefully!!

@Winnie13: YAY!!!! Getting any sort of line at 6 days past is wonderful! Mine was very faint at that number of days and I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow! Keep us updated. When is your beta?

@Mrs. Pajamas: Thank you so much! Are you testing early?
@PurplePumps: Thank you!! Are you still thinking of testing tomorrow??
@yellowbeach: @MissKabers: @SweetiePie: @NorthStar: Thank you all so much! Your support has been so wonderful over the past few months!! My Beta is Tuesday! It can't come soon enough!!!
For those that tested, when did your line get dark?
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Winnie13: I took a FRER every day from 8dp5dt and they kept getting darker.

@Mrs. Pajamas: beautiful embryo! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!!

@NorthStar: I'm REALLY good, thanks love! Cannot believe it, but am 37+5 and we're talking induction as this baby girl is a big grower and is off the charts! I'm so ready to meet her.
Cannot believe it all started with this teeny little embryo. I just want her safe in my arms now, so we can all have a little hope that just sometimes, even after all the crap, things can work out. x

@jaguar: I am SO amazed how long she has stayed in there! I can still remember tiny little Olaf being implanted! You definitely bring everyone hope and we can't wait to see you hold that little precious girl.

@jaguar totally agree with @Northstar. Dying to hear the good news of your baby girl's safe arrival. Hang in there mama! Do you have a name picked out?
I still have the embryo photo of my DD and I can't wait to show it to her when she's old enough to understand. It will blow her away for sure!

@NorthStar: I can't believe she managed to hang on through all the scary stuff - all the first trimester bleeding, then the pre-term scares.. and now we're likely going to kick HER out. Amazing!
@Mrs. Pajamas: YES! We do - unless she comes out with a willy and surprises us all, hahaha.
I love looking at Georgia's embryo too!

@jaguar: I'm so thrilled she's held on for so long, through all the ups and downs and terrifying scares! She is almost here and I know all of us are awaiting the news and the first picture with great anticipation! You worked so hard to bring her into your family, and she will be so very loved.

@jaguar: I've been following your story now since you announced your BFP!! So excited and happy for you!

I tested this morning and it's either negative, the squintiest squinter to ever exist or I'm just seeing the shadow of where the line would be. :-\

@PurplePumps: Would you feel comfortable posting a pic so we can help analyze?
kiwi / 702 posts
@PurplePumps it's still super early so don't worry.
Ladies, my butt hurts SO badly this cycle from those damn PIO shots!! Last 2 cycles was nothing like this. I'm heating up the shot before it goes in, and sitting on a heating pad afterwards for quite a while. What else can I do?
