@FliegepilzHut: That sounds like fantastic news on your embryos!! Transfer day only 2 days away… awesome!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!!
Less than two weeks until my FET! Oh, and we are moving halfway across the country literally two weeks later, right after I have my beta(s)… yikes!! Gotta start packing .

@FliegepilzHut: Awesome #'s!!
@GreenThumb: Wow lots going on in your life right now! Hoping pregnancy is something you can add to the list:) At least packing can keep your mind off the waiting game.

@GreenThumb: woohoo! Are you moving to the east coast or west coast?

@GreenThumb: Wow, you have a very busy month coming up! FX for a FET cycle. Are you planning to use a moving company?

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Thanks so much! Yes, I don't think I have time to be nervous about the FET, which isn't a bad thing
@swedishfish: Headed back east to MA!! We've been in WI for the past three years after leaving NY. Love it here, but friends and family are way too far away and we miss the ocean terribly.
@mrswin: I know, kinda crazy, but we decided we would go ahead with the FET since our embies are all in WI and we won't be here soon. The timing ended up being tighter than I wanted between weaning LO, getting my cycles on track so I could start meds and the end of our lease. We are getting help with loading up a POD since everything is going into storage while we look for a house. My jobs are organizing and keeping LO occupied. She and I are lucky enough to skip the two day drive and will fly instead.

@GreenThumb: Good luck with moving and FX for a successful FET cycle!

@GreenThumb: The POD and getting to fly sounds great! I hope your FET is easy and successful. Will you transfer any remaining embryos to your new location or would you just go back there if you decide to have third child later on?
persimmon / 1085 posts
@GreenThumb: Wow! A FET and a move two weeks apart! You certainly will be busy! Fingers crossed for the FET! How many embryos will you transfer? Two?
@FliegepilzHut: Tomorrow is your big day!! What time is your transfer? What time zone? So I can think happy thoughts for you during that time!!!

@Jenn23: Yes! It's at 9 a.m. CST. All good thoughts are appreciated!

@FliegepilzHut: So glad to hear that everything went well with the transfer!!
I'm sending good thoughts your way!!
@mrswin: I know! Hopefully LO does ok on the trip… I haven't flown alone with her before but she's done pretty well the other two times we've taken her on the plane. DH and I agreed that we wouldn't discuss what to do with the embryos until after we have a successful pregnancy (FX). If for some reason this transfer doesn't work, I think I would still come back to work with my RE here in WI. I have faith in him and his embryologists. And since FET involves minor monitoring, that could be done at an office in MA before a transfer in WI.
@swedishfish: We miss New York and are very excited about being close to friends and family again!!
@Jenn23: I know, it's a lot! We have been waiting on this job to come through for DH since December and I had trouble accepting that I had to wean LO before starting the meds for FET, so it ended up being really close on the timing. Oops ! And honestly having so much else to think about has really kept my anxiety levels minimal leading up to the transfer, which definitely isn't a bad thing. We are transferring two embryos this time like we did for our other FET cycle.
I'm excited for my U/S on Tuesday! They will check out my lining and FX give us the final go ahead for the transfer on 7/15. How is everyone else doing? Hope you had a great long weekend!!

Cross posting from the IF Check In thread:
Went for my baseline this morning and got my meds. I have a call in to a nurse because they noted a 10 mm simple cyst on my left ovary and I am wondering if I will still be able to start stims on time....
Does anyone have experience with this?
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@mrswin: no, but I hope you're able to start on time. Fingers crossed!

@FliegepilzHut: Congrats on a good transfer! Enjoy your break, do something good for yourself and come back soon with good news

@mrswin: I don't, but hoping for the best for you! Let us know what they say.

@GreenThumb: Good luck at your ultrasound!
@mrswin: I have heard about a cyst on ovaries before from other boards and some did delay so they could monitor it. Did you find anything else out? So did you got your meds right away through your doctor? I see a lot of people saying they have their meds when their start date is a couple weeks away and all my doctor has said was to call on the first day of my period, nothing about ordering meds ahead of time..
AFM, just finished my last progesterone, waiting for AF to show. I am getting more anxious as it gets closer. Im excited but getting really nervous too. I am trying to be calm about it all but find myself thinking about it and can feel the nervousness in my body! How did everyone not panic throughout the whole process??
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: I had a major meltdown the day I started stims. It took me an hour to inject myself with my mom telling me I didn't have to do it. DH was at work so I had to do it myself unless I wanted my mom to come over every night. Once I started stims the nervousness slipped away. Everyday it was easier to do.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@swedishfish: @GreenThumb: Thanks! The nurse said the doctor wants to go ahead as planned because the cyst is small and my E2 is normal.
@Mrs.Pinecone316: See above about my cyst. As for meds I get them through the RE because the price is comparable to what I would pay at the pharmacy. Does your protocol include BCP first or are you doing stims right away? If you have to do BCP first then they will probably go over your meds when you go in for your baseline appointment.
I picked up my meds yesterday because my first injection is on Friday, I took my last BCF last night.
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: I just wanted to add that I was on BCP for over a month before my IVF cycle. My IVF nurse called my insurance's mail order pharmacy and ordered my meds for me a few weeks before I started stims. I would call and ask what your office's procedure is.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Hang in there! I think the thing that helped me the most was just being very matter-of-fact about the individual steps...I kept a log of my injections (so that I wouldn't panic, trying to remember exactly when-- or whether-- I'd given a dose) and would rehearse in my mind the steps, also usually watching the freedomfertility.com video on YouTube the day before starting a new med. I would also set out the supplies the day before, so that was one fewer step. I think things will be easier once you have your plan laid out and are getting started. It helped me to-- literally-- do some deep breathing (there are some great guided imagery programs online as well -- Fertility Meditation - Blue Sky Mind is very relaxing) and to remember my mantra: Slow down. Calm down. Don't Worry. Don't Hurry. Trust the process.
Wishing you well!
@mrswin: That's great news! You're almost there!!! Do you mind if I ask which protocol you're doing?
I'm feeling really well...just impatiently waiting at this point. I did get a good piece of news yesterday, though-- we had 3 embryos that were suitable to freeze! I'm very hopeful.

BTW-- does anyone mind sharing how they made it through the IVF TWW?
