@FliegepilzHut: Yeah, the menopur burns a bit going in, but I found that it didn't last very long, and icing first definitely helps!

@thisisme: Yesterday was a little rough...almost felt like the needle was blunt (it's just a little bit larger). All tips are appreciated at this point...I will definitely be using some ice tonight!

I had my baseline U/S this morning. I am three weeks out from my FET and things are looking good. AFC was 16 and everything was less than 5mm, so things are quiet - exactly what we want. I'll start adding estrogen patches this weekend and will have another U/S check in two weeks. Feeling good!

Thanks, ladies. I just talked with one of the IVF nurses and my RE said to keep the same protocol as last time (which we had figured) so Bravelle, Menopur and Ganirelex it is!
I go probably four weeks from today and will start the stims if all looks good. No BCP or Lupron, so it'll be a super quick cycle like before. Retrieval and transfer first week of August. @FliegepilzHut: Sorry it is hurting! Only thing I know that helps is to really ice it!!

I'm excited that your cycle is coming up so quickly! I'm going for acupuncture today...then more labs tomorrow. We'll be driving up on Friday, then staying put until it's time for ER!

Woohoo! (or yikes?) My estrogen levels today shot up to 1156 (after 5 days of stims)! We're barreling toward a retrieval possibly over the weekend...and heading up to do an U/S tomorrow!

Well my beta was a BFN yesterday. I stopped my progesterone last night and I'm just waiting for AF. I'm so so sad but trying to pick myself up. I really fell apart after my 3rd failed IUI and I really don't want to go back to that place. I have an appointment with RE on 07/18 so a little break might be nice. Thank you all for being so supportive! You're the best!

@Shutterbug: Thank you. I don't think any made it to freeze. They were supposed to send that to is in the mail but we didn't get anything. I didn't want to ask yesterday because I just didn't want to hear anymore bad news. The puppy is definitely a cutie! She's helping to lift my spirits a bit!

@mrswin: This is actually my second FET. We had a failed fresh IVF cycle and then got pregnant with my daughter from the first FET. Yes, it is so much less stress on the body!!

Things are moving right along here! My estrogen levels were 2082 today and they counted 14 (or 15?) follicles sized between 11 and 16 mm-- ALL of which are on the left side!
Got an interesting-looking pic out of the deal (see below) and DH thought the scan was pretty fascinating. More monitoring tomorrow. Thank you for all the good thoughts, prayers, and support in general! -
@FliegepilzHut: Really interesting, what did the RE say about them all being on one side? Sounds like things are going well. I'm sure your ER will be here in no time

@mrswin: @swedishfish: I haven't talked with her about it yet...but because my right ovary is smaller and less active in general, I knew that this was a possibility. Definitely did alternate sides with my injections, though... I'm hoping it means that I'll only be half as sore after my ER!

AFM- I had my saline ultrasound and everything looked good except my lining was thinner than they would like. They gave me estrace to take a few days and I am going back in for a f/u ultrasound tomorrow to see if it thickened. Hoping it does. Still have no clue what kind fo protocal I will be on or when I start yet but I am dying to know!

Was your AFC okay? Here's hoping that the Estrace worked well for you and you get your schedule very soon! I'm feeling "fullness" and brief twinges of discomfort at times. Also, I'm drinking a LOT of water (& Gatorade)...otherwise I feel a little strange-- dizzy or dehydrated, I guess? Otherwise, I'm feeling well! They say to expect to trigger in the next day or so (maybe tomorrow?)!

Wow!!! I'm feeling a little shell-shocked... I now have 21 follicles larger than 10mm (the largest is 20!) --still ALL on the left-- and I'm waiting for my estrogen levels and further instructions.

I also watch Gangam Style on YouTube to distract myself every time. I'm a creature of habit.

But we've done it a couple of times in the past (before medicated IUI). Maybe I will ask them to draw on me Sunday! A silly video sounds like a great distraction! How are you doing (and is your back feeling any better)? FX for another good U/S report in a couple of days!!! -
