@Shutterbug: It wasn't too bad. I didn't have Novarel, I just had a subcutaneous HCG shot so it wasn't much different than my other shots. Sorry you ended up with the welt! I definitely have some bruises that won't quit!
@FliegepilzHut: Thank you! I hope it is easy for me too! I am a little worried about getting sick from the anesthesia. I have a sensitive stomach, and we have a 2 hour ride home afterwards which won't be fun if I have nausea!! I am feeling really good today actually. I have been a little more tired than usual, and I feel very bloated, but other than that I have really been doing great. I actually have been better with these meds than I was with clomid!

@Sunshine1810: Yay! So excited for you! I get nauseous, too, but you can ask for something to be added to the anesthesia too help prevent nausea. Just ask for it! I think they use a much more milder form since it is a quicker surgery, so that helps, too. Less than 24 hours now until your big day! I remember the bloated feeling. That'll subside very soon.

So I just talked to one of the IVF nurses and she confirmed what I had read that I do need to have at least 10 AFC to do the study. I scheduled with her for my husband and I to go in on Monday, 23rd (assuming my period does start that Sunday) and do the ultrasound, blood work and consent paperwork. If I don't have 10 AFC, my husband and I are still going forward with a regular IVF cycle and my protocol would be much quicker.
No BCP or Lupron, just getting started on injections. (Same as my last protocol that worked ) So then we'd be looking at retrieval/transfer earlier in July! I hope I am accepted into the study since it saves us a ton of money, but on the flipside if we do a regular cycle, I know I won't be as likely to be suppressed as much, I had success on that protocol and I could do a 5 day transfer if we have enough great embryos. So that is that!
