@FliegepilzHut: Yes, definitely better luck next time! You and me, cycle 2 will be our lucky cycle!!!!

@Sunshine1810: Indeed! When are you planning cycle #2?

I just got a call...adding insult to injury, my beta levels have continued to sky-rocket...now 19,711. So frustrating.

    pear / 1556 posts

@FliegepilzHut: Ugh I can't even imagine how frustrating that is! I am just waiting for AF (late of course), and then starting BCP. Looking at late September for retrieval and transfer.

@mrswin: I have been going back and forth about testing out the trigger. I really wish I had some cheapies left to do it so that if I do get a + next week that I will have no doubts that it is real. Especially because I think my trigger was a high dose. Maybe I will just suck it up and use my expensive ones to be sure.

@Jenn23: I know it is hard not to worry during all the stress and not to mention hormones but try not to write you little eggys off just yet! Numbers can only tell you so much, the rest you just have wait and see how it progress, try and stay hopeful!

@Robyn_ZA: Glad you had such a great RE appointment. Nothing feels better then leaving the office feeling like your paired with the right doctor to help you start your family!

@FliegepilzHut: I am so so sorry. That is heartbreaking.. Wish more than anything that things would have turned out differently. Hang in there, give yourself the time you need to process and heal but don't give up hope for a baby in the future!

@Sunshine1810: Why is it AF always takes her sweet time to show up when you actually want her to come? I swear... Hoping the waiting game goes by quickly for you!

well as for me. I ended up with 3 frosties instead of the 4-5 they thought I would have but I am still ok with that. My pup woke up feeling more like himself and eating, so thankful. Still have a close eye on him. Anyone else use endometrium? what a mess..

@Mrs.Pinecone316: I don't know, I was just saying that this morning! It drives me insane! I do know that I ovulated late this month. I'm sure that it's because it is my first cycle after the failed IVF cycle. I'm sorry you didn't get more frosties but happy you got some! That's great!!! I am really hoping I end up with some frosties next cycle! FX! I am SO glad that your pup is better too! I did use endometrium, it is a total mess! So gross.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: I have Prometrium and it is a total mess....the worst. but if it helps then I can put up with it I guess! I am just using dollar store cheapies to test right now instead of the expensive ones.

@Sunshine1810: I hate when AF takes her sweet time when you want her to get here! Will they be changing your protocol at all this time?

@FliegepilzHut: I am glad that they are going to do some additional testing. Please let us know how we can support you over the next couple of weeks

  9. Sunshine1810

    pear / 1556 posts

@mrswin: I am going to do the same protocol, but my doctor is going to try to level out my medication doses. I responded fairly well, but she hopes that by keeping my doses consistent, I will have more of the 8 cell embryos like the 2 we transferred, and hopefully get some frosties. Last time was my first cycle and my med doses were all over the place. Now she knows what I need to stim properly. She said that even though it failed, there were lots of silver linings to my last cycle, so that gave me some hope. FX!!!

@Sunshine1810: I bet you'll be ahead of me by a month or so. Hopefully your body will get the message so you can start back on BCP soon!

@Mrs.Pinecone316: Thank you! DH and I are both feeling sad, frustrated, and a bit disgusted...but far from hopeless. Still wishing you tons of good luck and sending !!! I'm very glad you have 3 frosties and your pup is feeling better!

@Sunshine1810: That's great then! Our RE said the same thing when we were starting out that they learn the most from your first IVF cycle and often are able to get it "right" the second time around.

@FliegepilzHut: oh my gosh, I am so sorry!!! You are in my thoughts.

I think we need a new thread because I keep missing all of the recent posts and responding only to older ones.

@Sunshine1810: I'm so excited for your next cycle!!!

@Mrs.Pinecone316: I'm glad you have three frostiness and that your dog is better!! A much better day for you!!

This estrogen spike the last few days sure got to me. I'm a weepy mess. 3 hours 'til trigger.

@FliegepilzHut: you are never dragging anyone down!! We are all here for you. I miscarried four years ago this week and just grieved a few days back over the loss. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

@FliegepilzHut: What do the doctors say about hcg increasing? Could it be possible u had twins but u only saw the one that didn't make it? I'm pretty sure at around 6 weeks, they couldn't tell I had twins. They said one for sure, maybe a second one, but we didn't really see anything....

@tequiero21: I get a repeat U/S tomorrow, just to make sure there is no change. But there is literally NOTHING there, consistent with a "blighted ovum"-- so a placenta/trophoblast going crazy, but no embryo.

@Jenn23: what time is ER tomorrow? Hoping it goes smoothly! Also, sorry this week was a painful reminder of your loss 4 years ago also

@FliegepilzHut: Don't worry about dragging us down, what better place to vent and say how you really feel than to a bunch of people who know how heartbreaking infertility is? Hang in there. Praying for a miracle tomorrow at your ultrasound. Whatever happens though, just take it one day at a time.

@mrswin: How are you feeling? Any cramping? Wish I felt more... but I keep telling myself a lot of people feel nothing when they get their BFP's. I ended up finding a few old cheapie tests and tested to see if my trigger was out this morning and it is. I almost wished it was still just to see the second line since I never have before lol. Oh well, will have to wait for the real thing I guess.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: 3 frozen is a great result-- congratulations! Yes, I'm on the Endometrin too-- at least it's better than the nightly huge PIO injections, and I also like it much better than the Prometrium @mrswin is on (that stuff is even more sticky and creamy, yuck!)

@Jenn23: Best of luck with your ER tomorrow!!!
