I've been having a hard time with communicating and setting boundaries for my almost 3 year old (particularly since baby brother arrived 4m ago). So, I decided to take control to help get back my happy house. Two days ago, I read Janet Lansbury's "No Bad Kids" (well, I didn't "read" it - I listened to it on Audible via Amazon - just over 3 hours total and I did it while doing chores etc). I had read good things about her on Hellobee but felt I never had the time to read a parenting book. Her approach is respectful parenting without time outs, yelling, or spankings. I am trying very hard to implement her approaches and can say that the differences have been life changing. I wish I had started reading her works years ago.
Is there a particular parenting book or method that works for you?
