@SweetCaroline: how are things going for you? Any non symptoms?

AFM: Now I'm just waiting for a radiologist to review the images

  7. SweetCaroline

@Sams Mom: how long before you get results?

No indications of anything. My Wondfos are dead, expired. Its snowpocalypse here so I don't even want to stop at drugstore. I Googled "Can FRER freeze (Amazon order!)?" The internet thought that was a bad idea. I might have to settle for the sure fire pregnancy test mentioned a few pages back. Surely in 9 months the snow storm will be over.

  8. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@SweetCaroline: 1-2 days for the radiologist to review

As to the toothpaste pregnancy test, I sure how snow clears up before then πŸ˜‚

@SweetCaroline: Hahaha! The toothpaste test! πŸ‘πŸ€£ Hopefully, the storm will have ended by then! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

@Sams Mom: @Kaohinani: ah yes, the toothpaste test

  11. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Sams Mom: Fantastic. So there weren't any "WOW, I've never seen THIS before?!" OR, "Geez, what is THIS?!?!" If not, that is awesome news! πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

  12. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@Kaohinani: I think they stress test ultrasound techs. Because of all the ultrasounds for Sam, and for some of Tom's issues, never once have there been any exclamations. Even though they had some weird stuff going on. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

  13. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Sams Mom: I'll have to ask my aunt's DW about that as she is an xray tech ... I mean R is pretty laid-back and she has a fairly dry sense of humor, but I think a huge growth or an extra organ would even catch her off guard. πŸ˜‰πŸ€£ Anyway, I was just trying to kid you in an attempt to make you stress less -- Obvious fail there! πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚

  14. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@Kaohinani: I've scoured my patient portal for my images to see if I could Google myself to death, and I don't think they release them until the radiologist looks at it. 😢

  15. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@Kaohinani: I'm sorry I was too focused on my crazy that I didn't respond to your appointment. Sorry

That all sounds great! I can't wait to see what your follies look like on Friday! How much do you think this will delay ovulation? Or will it even delay ovulation since you're using meds to get them growing at a better rate?

None the less I am so hopeful for this cycle for you!

  16. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Sams Mom: No worries! πŸ˜‰ I knew you had a lot on your mind. Besides, you are generally always enthusiastic for my appointments, great BBTs, and random announcements so I did not take offense to you not responding to a single one.

  17. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Sams Mom: To respond, Follistim will delay OV until trigger or one stops using the injections. However, if the follies are large enough to trigger by CD10 or 11 (which will be 18+ mm), they will ask one to do so and ovulation occurs within 36 hours of the trigger. In that case, OV would occur around or only be a day (or 2) past my usual OV time (which is CD8-12). In any case, the follies would be considerably larger and have a higher chance of containing a mature, viable ova for a higher percentage rate of fertilization.
Honestly, πŸ€” IDK when I will OV since I don't know the rate of growth for my follicles as this is my first cycle so I have nothing to compare it too. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I can't wait to find out though. I give myself my 1st injection at 7 EST! Eeek!
God, I hope this stuff works. Three years is a long wait while TTC. I am just hoping for my little #3 (or even a #4 in there, too!). πŸ˜ΆπŸ˜±πŸ˜‰πŸ€£

First injection down - 3 more to go until we see if there is any progress with my follicles. πŸ˜ƒ (@Sams Mom: It was really easy and actually did not hurt.)

@Sams Mom: Wow, lady. That is a crazy temp spike! (I wonder if TD will adjust it tomorrow?) I am hoping you get a BFP today.
Sorry so brief - got back from working out and now getting G and I ready for his speech therapy.
P.S. Injection went beautifully last night (IDK if you got my posts). A little bloated this morn (like I normal get before OV) and minor bruising under the injection site (see pic ... IDK if you can see the yellow-green bruising directly under the bandage). Nothing else (yet).

@Kaohinani: I hope that's your bellybutton and not the corner of your eye as I thought it was at first quick glance.

  26. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@paranundrum: πŸ˜‚ No, that is my weird bellybutton. It looks like a cinnamon roll with a hole in the middle. ☺ (laughing while blushing). I really didn't think there was enough to notice. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Just focus on the bruise - Not my "belly eye!" πŸ˜‚

@Kaohinani: But it would be pretty hardcore to rock a face tattoo and shoot fertility meds straight in your cheek.

  28. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@paranundrum: Agreed. But I am nowhere near that "hardcore." πŸ˜‚
Okay, off and running for the morning. πŸš—

  29. SweetCaroline

    pear / 1718 posts

@Kaohinani: @Sams Mom: so I'm 11 DPO today. Going to pick up FRER tonight. Should I wait for FMU or do you think it's late enough that I can test tonight?

  30. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@SweetCaroline: Longwinded and overly logical answer - Until 12 dpo, I usually take mine with FMU; however, by 13 dpo, I abide by the "make sure you are dehydrated and hold your pee until you HAVE to go" logic. That is just my preference. If you consider that implantation usually occurs from 6-12 dpo, I don't think it matters what time one tests as long as they are dehydrated and there is a readable amount of HCG in one's system, as some people implant early and double HCG quickly and others implant later and double every 72 hours. So, it is completely up to you πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. I wish you oodles and oodles of luck 🀞.

P.S. I could almost bet my bippy that Sam's Mom will say, "POAS now ... Pee on ALL the sticks!" πŸ˜‰

@Kaohinani: yes wondering the same about @SamsMom. I’m following along from Greece - just trying to be in the moment with DH and DD, so not on as frequently. Glad your injection went ok!

@Kaohinani: @yellowbeach: currently neurotically refreshing my patient portal for radiology reports. Even emailed my doctor about what happens after, hoping to hear he had them but hadn't got to me yet. She looked at both sides twice and clicked measurements A LOT! I'm a hot mess of stress, and anxious for tomorrow to see what TD does with my 100 degree temp from this morning.

  34. Sams Mom

    grapefruit / 4492 posts

@SweetCaroline: I would pee on all the sticks, but only after minimum fluid intake... or wait until morning.

  35. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@yellowbeach: Thank you! Hope you all are having a spectacular time ... I can't wait to hear stories! πŸ‘

  36. Kaohinani

    grapefruit / 4144 posts

@Sams Mom: Hun, you need to calm yourself as stressing THAT much isn't good for you and it won't make the test results come any quicker.
Incidentally, as I am sure you read WAYYYYY up from after you posted, I am also anxiously awaiting to see your BBT tomorrow. 🀞

@SweetCaroline: πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ I told you that she would say, "Pee on all the sticks."

Hi girls, popping in with a BFP on Saturday. Following a miscarriage in November (3rd mc in total) I have zero excitement, but plenty of hope!

    Waiting around for some symptoms...
