@Thehistoryofus: I'm being a nosy nelly, when I conceived (last jan!) we did the deed Tuesday and I ovulated Thursday! I think that's O-2?

@sorrycharlie: thanks. That sounds about like us so maybe we have a chance!

I didn't join this month's POAS thread, because the last few months have been dissapointing and I tend to get obsessive! But I finally got a BFP today! I can't believe it. 7th cycle trying!

@Colee: Congratulations! Come join us on the September Due Dates thread. Wow that's a lot of BFPs so far.

@Colee - Cobgrats!!!
@everbee - I'm with you. Tested this am (not sure how many DPO since this is my first cycle post-BC) and BFN times 2. I though the first had an error so I tried again LOL. And still no AF in sight.

You can take me off the list for the month - DH and I have concluded to take a break for two months. See you guys for March or April POAS!

@Colee: Congrats!!
@Ash: Aw did af show? Sad face. I need to skim this thread to catch up...it's hard to keep up with this POAS thread and the one on weddingbee, too.

@Thehistoryofus: Hopefully since you got two shots, one will be a bfp! Thanks for your encouraging thoughts this month. :))
@everbee: I was so sure I was gonna get a bfp this month... but af came before I could even poas. I love the boards but I'm in the same boat as you... I don't know if I'll be on the February boards either. This month kicked my butt emotionally. *hugs*
@chibee: good luck to you and dh. we'll miss you!
Congrats to the bfps I didn't personally congratulate!

@doxielove: I used to be on the wb boards but man, those girls taaaaaalk and I couldn't keep up with them. HB is so much easier for me. Haha and yes, af showed... 10dpo :(( I am almost wondering if I need to see my midwife again... I still feel so out of whack.

So many positives, but checking in and see a string of BFNs, too. Sorry to those who didn't get their BFPs this month. It will happen!
Chibee and Everbee--I hope your breaks are times of R & R for you and your husbands.

@fussygal: thank you! It just worries me that I'm still not back to normal...

@Ash - You can kinda update me. Tested this morning because still no AF and negative. Never been so anxious for a period (or something, anything)...
honeydew / 7909 posts
@LindsayInNYC: I don't wanna put you down as a rollover if there is still hope. I'm holding out for a bfp!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ash: It seems like there have been quite a few women who have taken awhile to regulate after m/c but seeing your provider will certainly give you peace of mind. I'm so sorry that AF showed. Thank you for continuing this board.
To everyone taking a break from POAS boards, I did the same thing....well I signed up and put my name on a list last month, but really stayed away from any of the results because I just didn't want to hear all the happy news when all I ever got was bad news. So I want to say I totally understand and want to give you a huge hug and say come back when you feel ready. Your good news will come!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Ash - Well, there is still hope because no sign of AF yet! I'm not bloated or anything. And, like I've said before, AF use to push through BC if I took too long in between periods. I took it continuously but usually only 2 packs or so straight because of this. I figured I would regulate quick-ish post-BC. I did have normal cycles on BC the last two times (no continuous pills) - one before thanksgiving, one (last one) after. So bizarre. I googled the type of strips I've been using and part of me wonders if I'd even notice a positive line. They SO faint sometimes that even if it is positive to someone else (and confirmed), I can't tell!

@Ash: I just want to echo what Marionberry said. Thank you for keeping up with everyone and being so encouraging to us all. I also agree about a trip to your midwife to discuss things and get some peace of mind.
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@marionberry: I'm 100% genuinely happy for all the BFPs and it's completely illogical, but I have twisted idea in my head that there can only be so many BFPs per month, and there aren't gonna be any "left" for the end of the month haha!!! Makes no sense that I convince myself that whether I get a BFP has anything to do with anyone else
watermelon / 14467 posts
Hey Ladies! I just wanted to update and say CONGRATS to all of the BFP's! I am still waiting to O. FF says it should be this weekend, but my temps have been super low the last few days (today it was 96.4, yesterday 96.3) and I have no CM, so it may be sometime next week before I have a POAS date. Fingers crossed!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@runnerd: Yep definitely illogical lol. You control your own odds. Keep the faith and I know there are going to be plenty more BFPs the rest of the month!
persimmon / 1388 posts
@Ash: I hear ya. If I miss a couple of hours on the wb POAS thread, I miss like 3 pages of chatter haha!! I'm sorry it's taking so long to regulate after your mc. Perhaps meeting with your midwife may give you a little more peace of mind!
@LindsayInNYC: Last cycle was my 1st post-BCP and it was HELL waiting for AF, since there's no real way of predicting when she'll show! I feel your pain!! My cycle was 34 days.
cherry / 101 posts
thanks @ash and @happygal. i'm not really sure how much i even want children anymore. the desire has greatly decreased. we NTNP for a year then for the past year i've been charting/temping/OPKs and then the last 3 months have been fertility treatments (btw, no problems with either of us)
pomelo / 5132 posts
Well...looks like it was probably NOT implantation cramps/spotting...just AF coming nice and early. YIPPEE. Last cycle 32 days, this one 23 days. Super fun! My FF chart looks hilarious right now because it shows CD 8-20 as being predicted ovulation days for the next cycle.
So, opinion poll: two cycles in...should I think about temping or OPKs, or should I just keep looking at CM and cervix position/other secondary signs? I want it to happen, but I don't want to get crazy either if that makes sense.
@runnerd: You have have my lucky January BFP! lol
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Mrs. J: I don't think there is any downside to using OPKs and temping, it just gives you more information about when/if you're ovulating. Sorry about your wonky cycles
grapefruit / 4213 posts
@everbee: That is so frustrating! Do you think maybe a break from TTC would help? *hugs*
cherry / 130 posts
WOW congratulations to all the BFPs..work has been crazy and i've been away for a couple of days...today is CD24 and AF is due on tuesday. I think i may be a rollover too, I've been having cramps since CD17 soooo....i think iam out for this month:(
grapefruit / 4311 posts
@Mrs. J: man!!! AF really threw you for a loop! I haven't broken down for temping, but I've done OPKs for past two months, cause I know temping would make me very obsessive. Gonna see what the next few months hold before I make that leap
pomelo / 5000 posts
@Mrs.J: I'm with JoJoGirl. I like temping and highly recommend it. The only time it gets me "worked up" is during the TWW. That's when I start analyzing dips and rises, and FertilityFriend tells me all this info about my chance of being pregnant. Temping has been a great learning experience, and I've liked getting to know how my body works.
@Everbee: are you worn out from trying, or are you really starting to question whether you want a family or not? I read the blog Cup of Jo, and she had a guest writer share her feelings of ambivalence about having children.
