    @kentuckygirl: Oh girlie I'm so sorry! Are you planning on another IUI next month? I heard sometimes it takes up to 3 (and sometimes more) for it to stick. So don't lose faith. Big hugs!

    I thought I knew when I ovulated but I've been having lots of cm since then so now I'm not sure.

    @Ash: I feel you. This our 6th cycle after mc and second trying and I often feel like I won't really feel better until we get that BFP.

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

    @ash @mrsh: I hate to be the one to be negative but you won't. I am 8 months out from our mc and still not pregnant. Our due date has come and gone. While it has gotten easier now that the due date is gone and I can't keep the count down going, I know I won't feel whole again until I get my BFP. However, at this point, it seems like the whole pregnancy was a dream.

    @Shutterbug: No! So sorry. Are you doing anything different next cycle? You still haven't seen an RE yet right, just been working on your thyroid levels?

  15. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

    @marionberry: Yeah, I actually just got my thyroid retested and it was still just as bad, so they doubled my dose. I'm trying to decide whether to redo my fertility hormone bloodwork this cycle or wait until the next cycle since my thyroid is still off. Once I redo it I'll be going back in to the GYN to talk about Clomid, etc. I'll be making an RE appointment in April once my insurance will cover it. Thanks for checking in

    Still no AF and still BFN. Damn you post-BC cycles!

  17. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

    @Shutterbug: Your RE will run all of that blood hormone testing again, so you should probably save the expense and at least wait a month or so to get it re-tested. I am having my thyroid retested when I go in on the 28th to see if they need to put me on medication during the pregnancy. Bummer you have to wait until April to see the RE but at least you're almost there.

    @Thehistoryofus: I like this idea!! :))

    So I have to vent... my SIL (husband's brother's wife) just had a baby in August. She's a very competitive person who is competing with me to get pregnant next. When she got pregnant with her dd, she was in competition with DH's sister to get pregnant before her (she ended up getting pregnant via IVF and is due in March). So SIL has this thing where now she wants to get pregnant with baby #2 before pregnant SIL delivers her baby and before DH and I get pregnant with a sticky baby. She knows about our m/c and just texted me asking if I have any good news for her.. I responded " no do you?" and she said "never know hahahahaha". Really... was that necessary?! Maybe I'm overreacting but I find that just mean.

    wonderful clementine / 24134 posts

    @Ash: I agree, that sounds a bit mean. Seriously, I wouldn't want to get pregnant before her (I mean, I know you do) but seriously she doesn't sound like one I would want to be pregnant around.

    @runnerd: Good luck waiting as long as you can.

    I am pretty certain this cycle wasn't good for us, but I am waiting as long as I can!!

  36. mlm2934

    grapefruit / 4311 posts

    @Ash: ugh sorry you have to deal with that in the family!! i would venture to guess maybe she's the type person who is too self-absorbed to realize how insensitive that is and that TTC can be a touchy topic regardless of the circumstances.

  37. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

    @Thehistoryofus: I honestly don't care if she does get pregnant before us... I just don't want it rubbed in my face. I didn't respond to the text and she texted me back 15 minutes later saying "just kidding" so she must've known she hurt my feelings.
    @runnerd: you nailed her to a t.

    @Ash: What a B! Seriously, who turns TTC into a competition!? Sorry you have to deal with that!

  39. Ash

    @doxielove: That's how I feel too. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who helps me to blow off comments like hers. Ooooohhhhh, & I saw you started a February POAS thread on WB!
