@runnerd: You are nuts. There are plenty of BFP's for everyone I'm hoping you get yours soon!

I *think* I am in my most fertile days now. I am just tracking periods, but it says now-the 16th are my "fertile days" with the 16th being O. I have a feeling DH is going to LOVE this week

@happy gal: both? i really am worn out from trying. it's been two years and one month now. but also i'm thinking that i'm very happy with my husband and even though previously, i couldn't imagine my life without kids (that i would adopt if need be), these days, it's getting easier to imagine it being just us. i'm not sure if i need children to feel complete.

@runnerd: at what point do you start OPKs?

  4. mlm2934

    grapefruit / 4311 posts

@Mrs. J: I started 9 days before expected O the first month to make sure I caught it, since sometimes my periods vary and I was new to them. This month I started 5 days before and that was plenty early) although I got a positive 2 day earlier than expected)

@runnerd: thanks! Which opks do you use? I may order some on Amazon.

@marionberry @Happygal @doxielove - Well girls, I had my breakdown at the chiropractor today. I asked him what I can do to get everything back in order. I figured he'd give me something more homeopathic than what my midwife would do or say. He's going to schedule my appointments around my cycle over the next month or so. And he advised me to take b-complex and some other vitamin... (I'll hafta look and see what it is). He said to take the next few months and enjoy my time with DH and not stress about ttc. So this cycle I decided I'm not going to use opks (even though this is only cycle 4 since our m/c and cycle 2-3 we've been trying). I'm just still heart broken over everything. I feel like my only way to heal is to get pregnant again. It will happen, I know. God has His plan... I just need to hop on board with Him. Thanks for your support! I love HB... I don't know what I'd do without everyone's support. And I am so happy to be apart of the POAS boards... It's exciting to be one of the first people to hear about someone's BFP!! Okay... I'm done now! :))

@runnerd: Bahahaha I think the same way!!! Too funny. You can have MY bfp spot

@LindsayInNYC: I'd keep using the cheapies... if it's a bfp, it'll show at some point!! Crossing my fingers for no AF!

@evansjamie: oooo, good luck! happy bding!

@everbee: I can understand the desire decreasing after so long of trying but look into your heart, say some prayers and what will be will be. I'll say some prayers for you as well... that what you truly want will happen.

@Mrs. J: boooooooooo!! AF must not have gotten the message from our bodies. Bummer! As for answering your question, I say maybe throw in some opks. I'm too lazy to temp so I haven't started that yet. P.S. I use wondfos.

@ash: Thanks! I feel for you, lady! I was really hoping you'd get your BFP this month. I just know it's in the cards for you...you just have to wait and trust in God's plan. I'm sending up a prayer for you that you'll get your sticky, sticky baby soon!

@ash - I'm so sorry...I had every finger and toe crossed that this would be your lucky month. You are such a positive and helpful person. You're right - it will happen for you and I can't wait to see that test when it does!!

@Mrs. J: Last month was the first time I used OPKs & temping...The OPKs really helped. The package said to start on CD13..I wasn't expecting a + until CD16 (when FF predicted) but I got it on CD14! So I might have missed our window if it wasn't for the OPKs. I used clearblue digis - easy to read and no mistaking them. They were expensive (ugh, like $50) but I only ended up using 2 of them (7 in a pack) and I thought if I DID get pregnant it would be worth the investment. If I ended up using OPKs for more than a few cycles I would have switched to the cheapos.

As for temping, I am such a type A person that I really did enjoy it and learned a lot about my body- until the TWW and then I started stressing out about every little dip and rise and comparing my chart to the pregnancy chart gallery. I finally stashed the thermometre last week with the thinking I'd take it out again after AF - but ended up getting my BFP a day later.

@Mrs.J: I use wondfos starting about 2-3 before my expected ovulation date. When I thought I had a positive with the Wondfo, I used a Clearblue digital one to confirm. It's nice having a smiley face for something during this TTC journey!

@Ash: I'm sorry you were feeling low today, but I'm glad the chiro was encouraging. I've started taking B-6 and a B-complex, too.

@Ash: I think we all need a break down here and there, especially those of us who have no IRL friends that we are discussing TTC with! Like others have said, your comments to others are always so encouraging and I can't wait til your body and emotions are all healed up and we get to celebrate a BFP with you!

@Ash: I hope the new supplements help to regulate your cycle. I am sending prayers your way. I know how stressful it can be not knowing what is up with your cycle/body.

Alright...I just bought some opks and a BBT on Amazon. Not sure if I'm going to temp or not yet, but I'll give the opks a whirl!

Let's get some more BFPs, ladies! I get so excited for you all!

Weird Q but is there anyone in Canada who wants my leftover OPKs ? I have 4 for the clearblue digi (also a FRER and a first response digi) I know it's not much but I really hate to throw them out.

I say Canada b/c I don't know how it would work to ship across the border with customs etc.

So, I've been sick pretty much this whole TWW...laryngitis, cough, congestion, so my temps have been freakishly high and even though I'm feeling better, they still are...but I think I just figured out why...

@Mrs. J: I hope it makes things easier. It's such a great feeling to see a positive OPK. Personally I find temping useful to "be sure" that I O'd.

@MapleMoose: it's awful. I'm usually an emotional wreck. I need to heal emotionally. Hopefully a combination of time, supplements and adjustments will help me. Thank you for your support! you have no idea how much I appreciate it.

@mango.sprays: congrats mama! So happy for you!

Oh and dh just made me a cookie in a mug cuz of my crazy sad day and my nasty ol' headache. I'm so lucky!

@Ash: I'm sorry you are having a rough patch. It's hard. Hugs and I hope that cookie in a mug is yummy.

Afm, DH has to work overtime and will be out of town on my birthday, which is also the day I'm supposed to POAS and I'm pretty sure I will be seeing af instead. Tomorrow is supposed to rain all day long, which goes along with my craptastic day. Totally bummed.
