What a hot mess!

I'm not surprised either. She looked like she was starting to get into drugs again on this week's episode and like it was stated, next week's showed her mom talking about how she's getting into more hardcore stuff.

On a similar note, did anyone see this week's episode? I thought it was so disrespectful when Jenelle and Kieffer started more or less making fun of Barbara for working at the deli counter at Walmart. She obviously raised Jenelle and her siblings and now is raising Jenelle's kid so she's not doing too bad. And at least she has a job.

She is a hot, hot mess. I hope she never gets custody of her son. Thankfully Grandma steppes up and took over raising him.

@T.H.O.U.: Jenelle signed over her rights from what I remember. I think it was supposed to be a temporary thing but it sounded this week on Teen Mom that Barbara was intending to get full permanent custody (unless that was just a threat, although it'd be better for the child and wouldn't be hard for her to get).

@belugabean OMG when that piece of trash jenelle was making fun of her mom's job...out of every awful thing she has done on tv, this was, to me, the worst.

@lioneyes: I was so frustrated by that whole scene. I kind of wish they had never shown it because, while I never liked Jenelle or Kieffer before, I really didn't like them after that. Jenelle just keeps referring to some random online job and Kieffer makes wooden pipes so I don't know why they thought they could make fun of someone who has actually supported herself, her kids, and her grandchild.

What a train wreck. Hopefully she will finally get some real help to work on whatever demons she's facing. I don't believe anyone is this much of a mess unless they're trying to quiet something inside them, I hope for her sake & for everyone around her she finds some peace & clarity so she can get her ish together & move on with her life!

@mrsmenow: do you know how the girls are paid for the show? I've been curious about that!

@mrs. bird: I know after the first season there was a big story about her only making $10,000 for that season, while Amber was making like $200,00 (they covered her legal fees). Since then they are rummored to make $60,000-completely rumor, but I am sure it is way more than the first season. I also suspect that she is getting her lawyers fees paid for by MTV.

She lives in my hometown.....my little sister graduated high school with her. I see her around all the time and she wants everyone to think she's such a big deal. Ummm no.

I have never watched Teen Mom but this is so sad! I hope that she'd do time for possession & intent to distribute, but if MTV is paying her legal fees it's likely she'll get off. =/

We deal with young moms & moms that have lost their kids due to addictions all. the. time. so I have seen first hand how serious jail time can SAVE a girls life. I wish they'd give her that chance. =/

@runsyellowlites: Completely agree. I honestly think jail time saved my sisters life. Hopefully this time away will be enough to get her clean!
