@luckypenny: don't do it. I'm on my third pregnancy and have never had any obvious signs that I'd get a BFP. All it ever did was get my hopes up. I seemed to have a lot more "symptoms" during BFN months than BFPs

So AF hasn't started as a full flow, but I'm on day 2 of just spotting which is really different for me. Usually AF just comes with a vengeance and I don't spot more than a few hours. I'm sure the witch is coming, but this is strange. Also, I had a beer last night because I thought she was...

@futuremama: I'm totally opposite...I've been pregnant 3 times, too, and each time there was no denying that I was pregnant, cause of the TWW symptoms. Totally different than regular cycles for me!

@sera_87: @futuremama: ok you've convicted me not to lol perhaps what I don't know can't hurt me lol

@LovelyPlum:
I don't know when I o'ed...so that's the only thing holding me back from being official on the thread. That, and I want to wait until after DS's party on the 3rd to test!

@dandelion @lovelyplum That thread is such a classic! I feel like I could recite it by heart, lol. I'm over there every TWW...

@Dandelion: a likely story. I'm putting you down for the 4th
Eta: unless you'd rather me not (in all seriousness)
@fussygal: yeah...about that...that thread is so dangerous!! I am 2 dpo. I am putting my foot down-this is too early to lose it!

Symptoms, urgh! Today is 7dpo and nauseated (a lot.) and shooting pains in my boobs and pinching cramps. I promised myself I'd wait until much, much later to test. Sure as I'm sleepless tonight, though, I'll be up in the morning, testing.
My last "BFP" wasn't really, it was a squinty line on CD31, after a super late (for me) O on day 21. Had to get confirmation from the Dr - and then, turned out to be an MC. Now, I'm just so scared of testing and hitting bfn's or worse, faint bfp's...*huge sigh*
I'm going to go stitch this on a pillow: "I will distract myself from testing!!"

@LovelyPlum: I'll be amazed if I can hold out that long...but as of right now, I own only one hpt and it's a blue dye one, lol. Can't test until it's the right time!

So, question. I'm not charting but I got my first positive OPK yesterday, and got another positive today. Which day do I consider O day? Am I technically 1DPO? Or does that start today with tomorrow being 1DPO?
pomelo / 5326 posts
@Littlebit: you won't really know unless you were charting temperature. I usually had two days of positive OPKs and would O on the second day or the day following, so sometimes up to 48 hours after my first positive. Just keep BD for another day or two!

Boo, pretty sure I'm about out.
Was having mild cramping earlier today, but early this evening I had a backache, which felt suspiciously like AF pains. Surely enough now I've started spotting. Sigh. Only made it to CD25 again, same as last cycle. Guess taking a week of B Complex didn't do anything to help lengthen my LP.

@Sprite: boo! Sorry lady

I'm totally out. AF appeared with a vengeance this morning. And the day before we leave for vacation! :(. To be honest, I'm a little more upset about the timeline than that she is visiting at all

@Weagle: Aw, that sucks. That happened to me last month...AF was a week late and then showed up just in time for my momcation, when DS went out of town.

Well, I tested and got my BFP! I tested on Wed. and got a very faint pink line on an Answer test. I then tested again on Thursday morning and got the same thing. I then took a FRER last night and there was definitely another faint pink line--not a squinter. Took a digital this morning and it says "Pregnant." I'm trying not to get too excited for fear it won't last...
Regarding symptoms, I was really bloated/uncomfortable a couple evenings last week and also have been overcome by fatigue at certain times to the point I nearly fell asleep at the movie theatre last weekend. AF was due today and since yesterday evening I have been really crampy. I have also had a lot of cravings for things like root beer and chocolate milkshakes. =) No implantation bleeding/cramping or sore breasts.
If you'd asked me a few days ago if I would have gotten a BFP, I would have said absolutely not. Last night's cramping was not fun so I knew if I didn't have AF this morning I had to be pregnant! Crazy!

@girlinred: woohoo congrats! Show us pics of those bfps, we love 'em!

Here they are. I feel like now the lines are obvious, but I def. wasn't sure on Wed. when I did the first one.

Thanks, Sweetiepie! Yes, they are! You could go crazy sometimes trying to determine if there really is a line on the pink dye tests! I couldn't wait to get up this morning and take the digital to finally know for certain.

Thank you girls! I'm actually still feeling sick today (I'm sure the heat/humidity here is not helping!), but really happy. I almost don't believe it, except that I know this is why I feel so crampy today. It's a super weird feeling!
