    @MrsMcD: Good luck with your HSG! Mine wasnt that bad. I felt fine afterwards.

    @Honeygold89: You may not. Many do not. It's good to know it can be an issue going in though. I was so naive. I thought if you have a period you are fertile automatically. Then I started charting and it was such a long and slow learning curve. I don't regret those extra months nursing my son though. Good luck!

    @sapphire: We are??? For some reason i thought you were end of Feb. That is SO exciting!!! I will join the board tomorrow if everything is still looking good. That will be 12/13DPO

    @cmomma17: Aww how sweet! It's a fin EDD. My son was 5 days late though so I am trying not to expect this baby to come on the day of.

    @nicolechris11212: I'm hoping for good results, too. Actually... I'm hoping for a little blockage that gets cleared up by the HSG test itself. Then, boom! I get pregnant next week. Wishful thanking always makes me food good.

    @MrsMcD: FX!!!

    I've had a really rough week. I haven't cried as much in years as I've cried this week alone. Meh. Sometimes it seems like when it rains it pours.

    I'm trying to see God's master plan in this, maybe by simplifying my life in areas with lots of stress to allow me to focus more on my husband and starting a family. I'm struggling, but trying to find silver linings.

    What do you all do when it seems like everything is going wrong and you can't do anything right?

    @Crystal: hugs! I am so sorry to hear you are having a rough time! I think we all have days/weeks like this, especially with the ttc emotional roller coaster.

    here are things i do that help when i am feeling stuck and dejected:
    -think about other times when i felt this same sense of how is it going to work out? where is the light at the end of the tunnel? and how it did work out in ways i couldn't have predicted at the time (i.e. what do i do after college? where are we going to live? etc etc)
    -pray "Your will be done Your will be done Your will be done"

    -try to take a break from navel gazing by doing something to help others. I think this is the best one for me. The day of my EDD with the baby I lost was in May and it happened to be the last day of my LO's class at daycare before she moved up to the next group. So I spent some time that morning writing thank you cards for her teachers and that helped me feel thankful. I also spent a lot of time at work solving a problem for someone that wasn't really my job to solve, but it left me feeling less terrible than I expected at the end of the day.

    -Remember that you have a lot of support, here and I am sure elsewhere and that it is okay to be gentle with yourself and cry if that seems like the way to go.

    @Crystal: Oh my gosh... private message me if you want. I'm hopefully on my way out of one of those weeks. But you know, when it seems like all "things" are going wrong, usually I can realize that those are just "things". You most likely still have your good health, your loving husband, a nice area that you live in, a car that you can drive, and hopefully a few friends and some good family. What more do you really need? So even when all other "things" seem to be in turmoil, you still probably have all of what you need, and most of what you want. And, really... message me if you want to exchange the deets on our shitty weeks. Maybe at least one of us can make the other feel better.

    @MamaCate: @MrsMcD: thanks, friends. I appreciate the support. It's just been one of those super shitty weeks...

    @MamaCate: great tips/ideas. I definitely need to rely more on prayer and take some time to think about the good things I do have.

    @MrsMcD: you are right, those things dont truly matter I do have lots to be thankful for. I'll ok you tomorrow, it will be nice to commiserate! Funny how things always seems worse when you are feeling them, and hard to describe why some things make you so upset to someone else.

    @Crystal: I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish I had real advice. To me when you are sad advice can be annoying but I will say this. Blogging and reading other blogs helped me. You might check out Baby, Borneo or Bust. She had two little girls after a loss and some tweaks. Starting your own blog even if no one ever reads it. Get your feelings out. Be as anrgy or sad as you need to be. Buy yourself presents. Enjoy your sweet husband. Know that We are cheering you all the way. I have been on baby forums for 3 years and I can't think of 1 person who was on there and trying or struggling that isnt pregnant now. Not one. That always reassured me. HUGS

    @mrs. tictactoe: Thank you!!!xo

    @LIL BEAN: AHHHHHHHH Three cheers for the old ladies! How exciting. I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months. xoxox

    I'm still shaking. And I can't stop looking at the tests! 40 years old, and my first ever BFP!!!! I'd pretty much given up. Even started looking at adoption and surrogacy routes.... Here's hoping it sticks!

    And just because I still can't believe it....

    My apologies for being totally MIA lately. Unfortunately, it's going to get worse before it gets better... we have a bit of vacation coming up and work is *insanely busy* right now. But I am thinking of you ladies and wishing you all the best.

    @Crystal: oh no! I'm sorry- I'm just catching up on last couple days and see your post abt a crappy week. I know you were sick, too. It's hard to keep a positive mindset when you're really not feeling well. I send you hugs.

    I found this website last week. It's kind of airy fairy, but I found it helpful. Especially if you believe in a higher power - it was a cool way of thinking about this whole fertility thing. It's a website developed by a Naturopath/ Acupuncturist. I watched the video of her interviewing a psychic. It's 30 minutes, but easy to watch. Again - pretty airy fairy, but if it helps, why not?! Right? Otherwise, she also has some good advice about de-stressing for fertility.

    @mrsmccarthy: Congrats!!! I am so excited for you!!!! You cheer everyone here on all the time and I am so happy it's you this month!

    I just got home from my progesterone level was only 13.6. My doctor said that was below the "low normal" which is 17. She said it indicated that I had ovulated, but I am not very optimistic at this point. Just a few months ago, my progesterone was over 40 and another time was 24, so I am not sure what is going on with the 13.6.

    They said next month we will be trying 100mg of clomid and a trigger shot. So hopefully next month is our month!

    I guess I am still not officially out, but It isn't looking too good.
