They weren't able to get both follicles in the picture but this is one of them. Both on my right side!
Hopefully I ovulate on Wednesday. My POAS date will be the 1st of June!

Cycle Day: 25
TTC Cycle: 1
Ovulation Date: No idea. I have super irregular cycles. I temp so I'm not caught off guard by AF, so I'll have to see when I get a shift.
POAS Date: Again, ?? I'm guessing it will probably be sometime in June (although I have had 70+ days cycles in the past so in theory it could push into July).
Baby #: 2
What's up this month: Dropped BC and otherwise taking it easy, all things considered. I'm still temping to predict AF, but not letting it drive me crazy on the TTC front. Honestly I won't be heartbroken if it takes a few months b/c I think it'd be nice to have a spring baby But with my sometimes long cycles and a possible work constraint late next summer, we've decided to go for it now.
For Fun: What plans do you have for this summer? We just got back from our "summer" vacation! We just have a few family visits/weddings coming up.

Just got AF yesterday.... first TTC cycle in 2 years.... taking metformin and I have clomid sitting on my dresser but I am too chicken to take it this cycle I think! the thought of twins scares me. I know it's only like 10% but that is too big for me!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@DesertDreams88: if you're ovulating I think it's totally reasonable to wait on clomid! Many people have different fertility post baby than before. Good luck!

@bhbee: I think I am! I haven't been perfect about temping, but I def am having a sustained temp shift, starting right around day 14. My body NEVER did that before LO1!

@Mrs. Oreo: LOL! It's CND shellac again but no idea on the name. Its lighter than my normal choices but I think I like it!

Hi ladies! Jumping over here from the May POAS thread, since my cycle is turning out to be longer than I thought!
Cycle Day: 17
TTC Cycle: 2
Ovulation Date: probably 5/21-5/22ish
POAS Date: I'll probably start testing around 10 dpo, so let's say 6/1
Baby #: 3
What's up this month: Really hoping this month works! TTC makes me a crazy person.
For Fun: What plans do you have for this summer? DH and I are hopefully taking a trip without the kids in July!

Tmi question for you all ... we are likely to miss my most fertile days due to dh work travel. Tomorrow is our last chance until Sunday and I'll probably ovulate within the next week. Wondering if I should try mucinex to get better cm? And do I just take it through tomorrow or keep taking it through ovulation?
nectarine / 2813 posts
@bhbee: I am by no means an expert on this, but from what I do know, Mucinex will only thin the CM that you do have, not increase it or make it "fertile". So if your CM is still tacky or creamy it will just thin the consistency vs. helping with EWCM.

@Coral: Can you move me to 6/13? Early AF a few days ago has shifted my timeline!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@mrskansas: is thinning the consistency a good thing? Or are you really saying the mucinex is just pointless
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@mrskansas: it's true it won't hurt and I already have it so why not. At least it will feel like I am doing something!
grapefruit / 4466 posts
@bhbee: I also vote that it can't hurt and might make it more fertile quality...

Last month, I got a positive OPK on CD 16 and I just got a positive yesterday at CD 12. Is it normal to vary so much?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@Coral: depends on the person but I vary from cd14-20 ... usually 16-18 but not always. If you only recently started paying attention to it could be normal! And mine changed some post kids.

I can't believe it but we might have amazing timing this month...o-3, o-2, o-1, and O. I really, really hope it works!!
grapefruit / 4361 posts
@bhbee: I think with the thinning, the hope is that it is not all trapped up near the cervix, but instead it is spreading out and thus making the whole environment more sperm friendly.... HA! the things you say when TTC....
grapefruit / 4361 posts
@Coral: amazing timing! I don't think I ever got timing like that in 10 months of TTC This month we are going away for a long weekend trip during the fertile window in an AirBnB WITH a toddler sooooo I am trying to keep my hopes realistic.

@DesertDreams88: Thanks! This is THE MONTH for us so we are giving it all we've got. We'll see what happens but at least I know we did what we could.

@Coral: your timing sounds perfect! Good luck!
This cycle is driving me insane. I have been tracking my cycle using OPKs and tracking cm since I got my iud removed in December and have had fairly regular (at least for me) cycles since then. Whyyyyyyy is this cycle so weird?!?! I still don't think I've ovulated and it's cycle day 22. I'm getting really frustrated.
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@bhbee: as an aside, I've also had good experiences with grapefruit juice helping CM! If you don't want the mucinex route
