I've been spotting off and on all day so I assume AF will be here tomorrow. Kinda frustrating because this will have been a 27 day cycle and my cycles are ALWAYS 31 days.
Of course my cycles are changing now that we're no longer taking a break.

@skinnycow: I'm still hopeful for you. Spotting isn't a true AF and is often caused by hormonal shifts including either an increase in Progesterone OR in Estrogen. It can either signal pregnancy or an impending AF. So, until the flow gets going ... spotting is just that - spotting.

@skinnycow: I've still got my fingers crossed for you, but I do know the frustration of having wonky cycles when it "counts" after all the months of not trying and being like clockwork.

@skinnycow: i agree that spotting doesn't always mean af but I always feel the same. Fingers crossed for you!
@lilyofthewest: your best bet is to just change to the next number in the url, so if we're to 13 but it isn't showing change from 12 to 13

Thanks all - I always spot the day before my period but it hasn't come yet. I really don't think I'm pregnant but this has been a weird cycle!

I'm 7dpo over here and had somehow forgotten that the waiting to find out sucks
Eta my period is also due to start the first day of our vacation thank God for my cup as we're spending the whole day driving

@MamaBear87: It takes foreverrrrrrrrrr! I am 6 dpo and am losing my mind over here just trying to wait to test ridiculously early, let alone at a normal test time.
nectarine / 2288 posts
@Sams Mom: i only have cheap tests in the house. And the way they've been working for everyone lately I feel like they're pointless
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@MamaBear87: I have easy@homes which I am a little hesitant about like you because of their current batting record... But I also have 2 or 3 clear blue digitals hidden in my house, but my sister will only tell me where one is if I'm way late or provide a picture of a positive cheap test.

Took another test today and still not any darker. Iโm unsure of what to do at this point. I donโt have an OBGYN since we moved not that long ago, so I donโt even know when I could get an appointment. Iโm just worried this will drag on. I attached a pic, but itโs a little deceptive because the 10dpo test has faded a bit since it dried.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Aria: 12 & 13 do look darker, but you said 10 has faded a little with drying. I would go ahead and call an office to set up an appointment, and worst case scenario you could cancel it, but otherwise will be on the schedule. Your first appointment would be about a month away unless you have a history of loss. I've got all my fingers crossed you you, and those are good lines for pre period due date.
nectarine / 2288 posts
@Aria: those are pretty solid lines for not even being late yet. Fingers crossed things progress well!

@Aria: I'm certain they look different in person but, somehow, over media, they all look fairly close in color intensity. ๐ค IDK. By all means, it appears to be fine but I, absolutely, understand your concern.
As to what to do: (1) You can look up approved PCPs or OBGYNs on your insurance network's website for your new area and make an appointment ASAP OR (2) you can visit an Immediate Medical Center/Urgent Care. I ran into a medical conundrum soon after our move to GA (during a switch from Tricare Prime to Select) and had to use the local urgent center. It is convenient and, besides having to pay nominal fees, it is far less expensive than the hospital for lab tests when you are ill (or even pregnant).

I am scared out of my gourd to test and to see ANOTHER BFN. This cycle has been SO different than the last 30 ... even my BBT chart looks solid atm but, still, I just can't bring myself to POAS after the last BFN a couple days ago. Everything seems like I "could, maybe-possibly BE pregnant" but if I see a BFN, I'll be crushed. . Arghhhh. Two more days until the BIG test day. . . Maybe, I'll wait 3.
(Slumps onto floor dramatically. )

@Kaohinani: That is looking good! tomorrow being 12 dpo wouldn't be THAT ridiculous to test, but I also get your hesitancy... BUT I am a POAS addict, and would have already peed on one today.
I really hope this is your month!

@Aria: I thought HCG could vary by day (like LH surges, which can go up and down in waves sometimes), so that's why they tell you not to keep testing as you get into your pregnancy? I remember reading this somewhere a while ago but can't recall more. You clearly have a positive test, so I'd make an OB apt., stop POAS, and celebrate!

@Kaohinani: Your temp looks really promising. Try not to stress too much. Either way, it's out of your hands and you've done your best this try. I'd be feeling hopeful with your temps!

@afc061018: I believe hcg is supposed to double every 2-3 days in early pregnancy. Itโs been 3 days and my lines are basically the same. With my first pregnancy they definitely got darker. These were all FMU and not diluted or anything.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Sams Mom: Thanks. I'm REALLY hoping so but I'm seriously guarded. Every other month I started to POAS so early bc, with my son, I had a BFP at 9 dpo. (With my daughter, I had no clue until nearly 6 weeks bc I had been on the mini-pill and my cycle was off ... *laughs*). Anyway, neither of them were planned. I followed my cycle and temped only so I'd know when I have ovulated JIC -- I had none of the manic, stressful, emotional ttc lifestyle I've been leading for the last 30 months. I'm just getting so "drained" with it all and, if this month is a BFN, it's onto a HSG, 3 more Clomid cycles and the possibility of IUI (since the hubby draws the line at IVF because our insurance doesn't cover reproductive aid.). I'm scared of ttc failure at this point.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Aria: yes, it doubles every 2-3 days; but home tests are only qualitative so they aren't fully reliable in showing growing concentration... At least from what I understand.
Go ahead and find at least a practice that takes your insurance to see if you can get in for a beta and then work on getting your first prenatal scheduled.

@afc061018: Thank you so much. I'm going to keep as positive as I can. (You ever notice how easy it is to be positive for everyone else but, at times, it is harder for one to be positive for oneself? That is absolutely me in this situation. Lol.)
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: I totally get all of that. When I exhaust my clomid cycles is basically when we're done with interventions. My insurance doesn't cover IVF, and my doctor's office does IUI but he says they suck at it and won't waste my money. I know I am not as far into this as you, but I am terrified of TTC failure also. Like seriously, I have been pregnant, I have a wonderful little boy! Why can't I just get pregnant again. Yet people that shouldn't be having kids are having lots of kids!
At the very least I could potentially be adopting my cousin from one of those people that shouldn't have kids but has had lots of kids. So maybe if I never get pregnant again, I still feel like I will feel complete/at peace with it. uggggghhhhhhhh

@Sams Mom: Thank you for your absolute understanding! It feels amazing because, honestly, even with all the friends and family I have, none of them understands what I ( * I should say, "we" for my hubby and I) am going through. I truly appreciate you and all the wonderful ladies on here.
nectarine / 2288 posts
@Sams Mom: @Kaohinani: feel you on the I could be a failure front. I'm more at peace with it now, especially since we have decided not to do anything as one of the more common side effects of both Femara and clomid is anxiety. My little family is awesome and at some point we will add to it, either with a bio kid or eventually with fostering.
It's a hard place to get to though

@Aria: those lines look like theyโre progressing in intensity to me! Actually, my 10 and 12 look just like yours.
My hcg was 32 at 12 dpo today. It was 48 with DD on 13dpo. Cautiously optimistic is my doctorโs view at this point.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Sams Mom: every 48 hours so Wednesday. The 48 number was what they were with my daughter on 13dpo.

After telling all you ladies not to symptom spot and that it's just progesterone....who's over here symptom spotting tmi I'm so much wetter than usual during this time of my cycle so of course must be pregnant

Temps went down .11 today. I know it is ONLY one temp and I'm still in the "triphasic zone," but AF is due tomorrow so I hope tomorrow's temps don't fall further. I know it could, possibly, stabilize or increase in the next day or two. (Fingers and toes are crossed!) I think I may POAS the day after if AF doesn't show ... My anxiety is sky-high atm . New development - peanut butter induces dry heaves. All other symptoms can be explained as "similar to pre-AF but more mild." Arghhh. Why can't we just have pop-up indicators installed which announce "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" immediately after implantation?!? It would save so much stress during the TWW.

@Kaohinani: The wait is so stressful! Your chart still looks great and I wouldn't be concerned about a small drop

Stillllll spotting. My temp has plummeted 0.6 over the last 4 days so I know AF is coming.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: That is still well within normal fluctuations, your chart looks great! I still can't believe you haven't POAS yet!
@MamaBear87: I have done well so far in reminding myself that it is too soon to symptom spot, and it's only progesterone... But damn if I didn't google "Can early pregnancy cause profuse sweating?" last night. The hot flashes are back with a vengeance and I'm not a fan.
