    Um, af left!? I'm very confused right now. This morning I had spotting so I put a tampon in. When I took my tampon out in the afternoon there was nothing on it. Af, where are you!?

    @luckypenny: I'm sorry Hopeful for an end of June BFP for you!!

    @doxielove: um?? Weird. I would stay away from tampons just in case, then. Is there any chance this could have been implantation?

    Well, AF returned. I've never experienced the start-then-stop AF before, I wonder if the B6 I've been taking is finally helping to extend my LP? Interesting. Well, onwards to cycle #6!

    @pui: yuck, cd67!? I wouldn't temp anymore, either!

    @luckypenny: Sorry about AF!

    I think I jinxed myself by saying I've been calm during the tww. Now I'm getting very antsy! Don't know if I'm going to make it til Friday to POAS...

    @doxielove: boo on AF and weird about your symptoms... hopefully it's an indication of improvements!

    AFM, hubby and I have just been away to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in Rotorua! Even though it's the middle of winter here we got to do a couple of little hikes - one through the redwood forest and one at Waiotapu Geothermal Wonderland (http://www.waiotapu.co.nz). We had our anniversary dinner at Aorangi Peak (http://www.aorangipeak.co.nz) and husband encouraged me to book in for an Exfoli-Aix massage treatment at Polynesian Spa (www.polynesianspa.co.nz). All of this must have helped with my stress levels cause I got my positive OPK! Yay! Lots of BDing, so now it's the waiting game. Even if it isn't our month I'm so excited - my body is finally healing itself!

    I got crosshairs, finally! FF says I O'd on Friday which was CD 17 for me. Not normal for me at all but we'll see what happens.
    My new POAS is June 15th, my new AF day according to FF. Did they change my AF day because my luteal phase has always been consistent around 14 or 15 days?
    Anyways, I'm relieved and though I still don't think this is our month just because its been wonky and timing hasn't been great, I'm glad I might have learned something about myself with temping.

    @SweetMamaM: Congrats on the anniversary and the + OPK! An anniversary baby would be cool

    @mrs. 64: Hang in there! You can do it! (Says the pot to the kettle).

    @AuntieEm: yay for crosshairs!!

  25. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

    @citymouse: Maybe? I don't know if they will induce it or just start me on Metformin... assuming my test results do point to PCOS! My biggest fear is that they will find nothing.

    @pui: Gosh this has to be so frustrating! I'm no doctor but it doesn't seem like nothing to me. If they say its nothing, would you get a 2nd opinion?

    Whoo hoo! After stalking the POAS threads on here for over a year, I can finally join my first one!

    Current Cycle Day: CD 5

    Ovulation Date: Guessing June 12th-ish, but considering I didn't get a positive OPK the last two months, and the month before I got two +s two weeks apart means I'm still not sure if/when I'm ovulating, even after 3 cycles of charting.

    POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Will POAS on June 27th, based on what FF predicts is my AF date. So far my cycles haven't been very regular, after being on depo provera for almost a decade (although I had my last shot in January of last year, and my cycles returned in October.)

    Cycles trying: Cycle #1

    BD timing: We'll be trying for at least every other day all month, although the past two weeks on vacation we were "practicing TTC" with at least once a day, sometimes twice

    For Fun: What's your favorite summer activity?: sitting out on my deck with a cold drink.

    Not much to see on my chart for this month yet, but if anyone wants to be FF friends: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3fb0cd

    Good luck and baby dust to all!!!

    Ok. Question about temping....does it have to be the exact same time every morning, or approximate? I set an alarm but it always makes me jump and I can feel the adrenaline making my heart bet so fast. Would this effect my temp? DD wakes up around 6 everyday but sometimes it's 6:30 sometimes 5:45. What should I do?

  31. mrs. 64

    nectarine / 2936 posts

    @luckypenny: It's best to temp at the same time every day. I use an alarm at the same time every day and then schedule a different one if I need to get up later (for example, on the weekend). Then I just temp from bed and go back to sleep if necessary. Could you try for 5:45 every morning and snooze until DD wakes up? I'm not sure about the alarm making you jump and its effect on temp.

    @luckypenny: I think FF says within a half hour in either direction. That seems close enough to me though, I'm in the "better to not stress about it" camp.

  33. runsyellowlites

    @luckypenny: You're really supposed to temp at the same time everyday AND be sure to get aleast (I think) 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep before temping for it to be accurate. Ultimate I stopped temping b/c it just wasn't working with night wakings & different morning wakings.... I'm sorry but I was NOT going to set an alarm to wake up earlier than I had to when I am already getting less sleep than I'd like. lol. I've decided to do OPK's & check CM/cervix position... I'll know how it goes at the end of the month.

    @Sprite: Welcome! Hope it's our month!!!

    @Sprite: Welcome!! Added you on FF

    @luckypenny: I use an "approximate" time - if it's too far off from the norm, FF will change the color of the dot. I usually wake up at 5:30am and my temps at 6am are still fine. Definitely don't use an alarm though if it's making you so antsy!

    @mrs. 64: @Mrs.Someone: @runsyellowlites: thanks ladies. I think I'll keep trying for the same time every day and see how it goes this month. Not sure if its worth it to keep up. I'm tracking CM and just bought some OPKs too
