@luckypenny: P was a "lets try to have a baby" and then boom there she was so this time is totally different too! Kinda nerve racking! sheesh! lol

How do you guys survive the tww? I know we are ntnp, but we clearly BDed and I know when AF is due so I am technically in the tww, but man it's hard not to think about it!
coconut / 8483 posts
@Bao: good question!! we pull and pray, but even that in the TWW I am anxious! Makes me think I'll be crazy when we actually NTNP or TTC.
grapefruit / 4582 posts
@Bao: that was the joy of a surprise baby. I'm totally anxious type A hate waiting type of gal so I'm pretty sure the TWW will be the end of me
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@luckypenny: That would be nice!
@Mrs. Champagne: uhh yeah it's so hard NOT to think about.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@luckypenny: @runsyellowlites: I agree it was much more relaxing with a surprise positive!!
@Bao: we were on vacation last month so that helped but its really hard not to think about!! I got a pack of 50 pregnancy sticks from amazon bc I go crazy and test really early!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@T.H.O.U.: I may break down and have to buy some, eventually. haha
coconut / 8305 posts
@T.H.O.U.: Yea, with P we had literally just decided to start trying & happened to hit the window! We used protection before that so she wasn't really a surprise, but still no tracking or really "trying" involved!
I have ONE hpt that came in the pack with my OPK's... I KNOW I'm going to have to get more b/c I don't think I can wait till the 19th!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@runsyellowlites: Wow that's good luck! ETA: oh yeah I poas today and idk how many dpo I am lol, such a waste there it went!
coconut / 8305 posts
@Bao: Really it was! Because of DH's medical history we were both really concerned with what ttc would be like AND despite things having been so easy with P, it's still something that DH kind of worries about.

@mrs. 64: Seeing the negative sucked, not gonna lie...but I know it's too early.
nectarine / 2936 posts
@Bao: I'm the worst. I'm 11 dpo today and I tested on 8, 10, and 11 dpo even though I swore I wouldn't test before 12. Every plain white stick sucks but apparently I don't learn from my mistakes!
If I don't get a bfp this weekend (FX!) I think next month I will have to put all tests in a lockbox that I can't open until necessary. NO self control over here!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@mrs. 64: from CM and O pains I'm either 7, 8 or 9 dpo. Who knows...but now I have no more tests so can't test anyway so I think I will just wait until AF. Haha maybe ;)...FX for you!

@Bao: I was a total mess. It helped to keep busy, though! Went on some runs, tried to plan things with friends, but pretty much every morning I wanted to POAS! I didn't actually keep any in the house.for a while. That helped!
@mrs. 64: don't worry, you're not the only one without it!! I'm terrible, too
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@LovelyPlum: Maybe not having them in the house would resist the urge. Well they are all gone now!

I've been lurking this thread and thought I might as well join. Not going to get my hopes up though!
Current Cycle Day: CD 16
Ovulation Date: I *think* it was Monday June 3rd
POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Will POAS on 6/19 if AF doesn't show, usual cycle length 27 days
Cycles trying: Not officially TTC yet, just NTNP and more like let's just see what happens!
BD timing: We BD Saturday night the 1st, that was the only time.
For Fun: Grilling out and water activities!

@Bao: Haha I am total POAS-aholic too! I have taken at least 2 pregnancy test every month for the past 3 months and we haven't been anywhere close to baby making!
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
Ok can I get an official POAS date?? I'm gonna do June 14th if AF isn't here yet. My cycles were 41,27, 31 and 32 days so I'm going to say this one will average 32. Maybe a POAS date will give me a goal to look forward to?

@pui: Glad you got answers, easily treatable! Its true you will also start feeling better, for sure!
So. Confession. I tested today. 11dpo. Negative. So its early and if I'm not KU then there must be some kind of major progesterone party going on in my body. (Not unlike last cycle, first cycle off BC - but maybe more intense this time.)
For any of y'all that have recently stopped BC, did you have crazy post O symptoms like, the WHOLE time before AF shows up? I'm talking about tender nips, bloating and lower backache. I think my body is getting me back for chemically suppressing all those PMS symptoms for two years.
I'm not testing again till next week! Promise.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@PEAPIE: I have that all but haven't been on BC for years. I think it's my mind playing tricks on me.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@pui: I'm glad you got sometype of answer yesterday I also had a doctor appt yesterday and the doc found a tiny lump in my breast but feels like its just with the m/c and milk might just have gotten clogged up so he scheduled me for a sonogram just to check it out but just keep your head up you'll be fine I had a few family members with the same problem and one of them has 3 kids and the other has 2 don't sweat it you'll be KU sooner then you think
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@Bao: Yea for a POAS date!
@mrs. 64: Dont feel bad, every time I test and get white, I laugh at my self wondering, why is it that I seriously have a NEED to pee on these things!
@PEAPIE: I definitely had weird symptoms coming off BC.
nectarine / 2936 posts
Well, BFN at 12 dpo. I know there's still a chance something might show up at 14, but from stalking the "when did your get your bfp" boards I feel like most people have a positive at 12 dpo if they are going to get one. Hopeful but not hopeful, if that makes sense.
clementine / 811 posts
@PEAPIE: Yes! The first two months of BC my boobs were sooo sore. As in showers hurt. I didn't know what to do about it! Last month I don't even remember it happening, but it totally messed with my mind!
@Springtime: Welcome
@Honeygold89: Eek, still kind of scary. When's your sonogram?
clementine / 811 posts
@mrs. 64: Ugh, bummer. Still time though! Totally makes sense, but try and keep that hopeful part strong
coconut / 8305 posts
@mrs. 64: Boo. FWIW, with P I tested 14 dpo (the day af was supposed to show) & baaarely got a line... It wasn't until a day & a half later that I really got one that didn't require squinting! Fx for you!!!
honeydew / 7463 posts
@Honeygold89: Oh no! It's good that the doc isn't worried but better safe than sorry. Keep us updated and I'll be thinking about you!
honeydew / 7463 posts
7 dpo today and still holding out. I think last month I POAS'd at least once by now. I actually feel proud of myself every time I go to the bathroom and don't POAS or in a cup. It's a sad day when a 31 year old woman praises herself for peeing on the potty.
Anyone else at 7dpo? How are you feeling physically and emotionally?
nectarine / 2527 posts
@HazelEyes:honestly with the doc not being so concerned about it it actually made me calm about it but I haven't got a date yet he say they should be calling me no later then next week to set it up but that's for your concern
@AuntieEm: thanks and I most definitely will
