@nicolechris11212: That's all great news and an excellent plan.

@septca: We want all the details of this house! Excited for you!
Everyone talks about relaxing/vacation helping you get KU- when in your cycle do you think it is most important to be relaxed/low stress?

I've been having this weird bitter taste in my mouth the last couple of days right after I eat, and when I look it up online the only thing it points to is pregnancy. That would be super exciting to hear, if I weren't in the middle of my period right now! So instead it's just incredibly bizarre. And sad. I like eating.

@AmeliaBedilia: Best of luck to you! We went on a cruise the cycle we for our BFP, we were gone 6 days right in the middle of my fertile week or what I thought could be it since I had wacky periods......TBH I don't think it was the cruise, that relaxed us I think my body finally works don its own, and the extra vacation BD helped

@septca: we're planning to buy next year and I stalk house listings like craaaaazy. Can't wait til we can actually make a move on one!
@nicolechris11212: glad you got news from the urologist! I do think OPKs can cause more stress!

@PawPrints: Oh no! I wish it was a pregnancy symptom for you. But your comment makes me laugh. I like eating, too!

So I'm pretty sure DH is out buying a new car right now. He's needed a new one for a while. We were considering an SUV with three rows because, you know, we want a lot of kids. But there's no kids right now so we figure two rows is sufficient. Womp womp.

@AmeliaBedilia: I think general relaxation is always good. I would think around ovulation and TWW would be the most key times though.
@PawPrints: i hope it's a good sign.

@septca: have you put in any offers? Congrats on finding the perfect house!!! I looooove house shopping.
@MrsMcD: we are twins today!!! I love house shopping, and I live in a condo with Plans to upgrade when babies are born. And we also bought a small car because there isn't any reason to upgrade yet (unfortunately).
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@MrsMcD: ooohhhhhh. What kind of car? We have a sedan right now, but need to move to two cars when we move. DH gets to pick, and I think he's been looking at the 4Runner and the Highlander. I want an Outback.
@PawPrints: I also like to eat. It's pretty much my favorite thing ever.

Okay, so the house. It's out in the 'burbs on a really big lot with a pool. It's nice and has lots of room for us to grow into. Plus, it's got a total to-die-for kitchen. It's seriously straight off my Pinterest page. I'm in love. We go do the tour tomorrow and will probably put in an offer next week if it's as great as we think. SO scary because they we have a ton of work to do to sell our current house. And I'm only half ready to move. But I LOVE this house.

@septca: house sounds awesome, and I love subarus! I have my first one (an impreza) and I have never loved a car so much.
CD7. Trying to determine our plan. If this is the cycle, I will be 11 weeks when I start new job, and my conference would be about 8 weeks after my due date. Not ideal but I could still go. I waffle between "kitchen sink" and a more relaxed plan to avoid stress and disappointment.

Ok, I swear it took me two days to catch up here, and then another two days to catch up with all the comments you wrote in THOSE two days! Hahaha! L'il chatterbugs...
(LOVE IT!)
I'll tell you what else I love... That you girls talk about everything in life. Talking in circles JUST about TTC makes a person a little insane, which is the opposite effect one would hope for from joining a chat forum! So, I say thank you, AGAIN!
I'm on cd 10 today. No idea when I'm ovulating this cycle- last month was cd21 and time before cd13. Which is why I haven't added myself to the POAS list. I'll update it when I figure it out...

@HeartAbandoned: a super duper belated congratulations! I was so happy when I saw it!

@septca: The house sounds incredible! Kitchens are my favorite part of a house so if it has a good kitchen you have me sold
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@septca: that sounds amazing!! I agree about a kitchen being so important. Good luck today!
I'm on vacation this week, and so happy about it. It's desperately needed. I wish it wasn't during AF, but at least then I don't have to worry about OPKs or HPTs or DPO or anything. I brought my thermometer, but I'm considering not using it.

GUYS. I could not be any more confused. So, a few days ago I had a positive opk, then for the past two days all negative with spotting. Now I'm still spotting but I had lots of EWCM so I thought "Why not?"
What is going onnnnnn

@LIL BEAN: Thank you!
@intotheocean: I agree with @septca: Try an HPT!!

@septca: @HeartAbandoned: I'm CD20 and 3DPO. I don't know what's happening but I font gnome it would be positive, right?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@intotheocean: are you temping too?
Maybe you didn't o before, even though you geared up for it? Also, and HPT couldn't hurt...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
My HSG was approved by insurance! Woot woot! That's saves me a bit of money. Now I just need to schedule it.
Girls that have had the HSG done, what CD did you do it on?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@intotheocean: I agree that an HPT never does hurt.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsMcD: yay for insurance approval!
@intotheocean: are you sure you're 3dpo?!?
I'm having a bit of a down day. Found out one of my friends is pregnant with number two, due Christmas Day. 27 years old. I'll be 27 Tuesday and can't get pregnant with number one! Must.stay.positive. This will be our month, this will be our month!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@MrsMcD: 1st was at CD10, 2nd was at CD7. You are supposed to do it CD6-11, I think. After AF is gone, before any hope of O.
@dc yoga bee: Think POSITIVE!!!
@intotheocean: Get yo'self a FRER. I don't trust that you are 3 DPO. It may be negative, but it's info.
cherry / 159 posts
@dc yoga bee: Stay Positive! Easier said than done of course, but it will happen! I hope tomorrow is a better day
cherry / 128 posts
@Crystal: I'm not temping because I wake up so many times at night.
@dc yoga bee: I think now I'm 1dpo? Lol
I got a negative blue dye test, but my ovulation tests are getting way darker than the control. I must be ovulating now lol

AF has arrived!!! Never would I have thought I would be so happy to see her! Finally I can start tracking my cycle.
CD 1!
kiwi / 578 posts
@intotheocean: just to add my experience on temping because I wake up at least 3-4+ times a night and thought it would be a complete waste but some bees talked me into trying to at least make sure that I was really ovulating. I temped for three cycles and was able to confirm ovulation each time. I backed it up with OPKs for the first two cycles and was amazed to see that I actually ovulated two days after a positive OPK (i was assuming that my ovulation was happening the day after a positive) anyway, that's my two cents. I would give it a try if you are at all interested!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: Just wanted to weigh in and say I have a pretty crappy sleep schedule (work 3 overnight shifts a week, flipping back and forth to day and night, waking up 2-3x a night) and I still temped. No excuses
I'm cheerleading for you all!!! *\o/* <~~ sad attempt at cheerleader
pomelo / 5326 posts
@intotheocean: echoing other posters... I also wake up multiple times and still catch my O when temping. It doesn't seem to make that much of a difference for me.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@septca: Thanks lady. I know I"m supposed to do it before O. But I didn't know if I should be having it done during my prime pre-O fertile days. There's such a small window of days to get the HSG completed. With my crappy busy work week, I know I can't get it done this week so I'm praying I can schedule it for July. Ugh... is it almost July already?

Just got all caught up!
I love the house talk. I'm obsessed with looking at real estate listings!
CD 19 and 5ish DPO. Had a really vivid BFP dream last night. It showed up super fast and was super dark - even darker than the control line. Then, in my dream, I was lifting stuff and had cramps and started worrying that I'd miscarry. So, basically a premonition
My SIL and her fiancé and her kids came over for dinner tonight and she brought up trying after they get married in Sept and she knows we've been trying. She asked if I've charted before. Why did that piss me off? I guess I just feel like when anyone tries to give me "tips" it's like they assume I'm stupid or that I haven't tried everything in my power at the moment.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@intotheocean: I am so sorry you are having such a wonky cycle. That is really not cool.
@MrsMcD: Yeah, I'd want to do it at least 6 days before O. For my cycle (3 days of flow, then 2-3 days of spotting, O at CD17-18), CD6-7 seems to be the best option.
@ctegge0416: I just wanted to send you some big ((hugs)) - I saw your other post and I totally agree... for *me*, not being able to get pregnant at all is actually *easier* than seeing that second line and then having it be taken away. My first pregnancy - before my 2 CPs - was so blissful. I was so naive about the possibility of anything going wrong.
@dc yoga bee and @intotheocean: Echoing @Mrs.Panda and @Delight - I think it was @SimpleFelicity I told this, but NO CHARTING EXCUSES! You can do it. Or, you can at least *try* to do it to see if your excuses are, in fact, valid. But I doubt it.
@mrs. tictactoe: It's totally irrational, but I am *completely* with you. Sometimes I want to shove a copy of TCOYF at people and say, "skim this, then come back to me." "Cuz ain't nobody got time for TTC without a basic understanding of balls and tubes.
