@septca: I hope thems pregnant boobs! Definitely not completely out yet and hooray for perky boobs!

@septca: not out yet! And LOL at ravaged chest!?! I hope perky boobs is a sign of on the horizon!
Last night, DH and I went to the Nat's game, and stayed out late at a bar across the street. Didn't get home until midnight! We never do that, and it was so much fun. I went to a power yoga class today, and now I can't feel my limbs. It's hard wondering if I should be doing twists or not, but still gotta live our lives, and I just dialed it down on the abs moves, but still pushed myself to my edge. With a chocolate chip cookies afterwards. Whoops,

Thanks, guys! As you all well know, I'm not one to play up symptoms of seek validation for my early testing, but I am honestly going a little crazy with these boobs. They are large and in charge the last few days.
@dc yoga bee: Twist from the ribs rather than the core and you'll be good. Not that I think ab work during the TWW would hurt you anyway.

@Crystal: I do, but I think I'm delusional. Both both prior BFPs, I had a + by this point.

I was out doing yardwork today in the unusually nice, cool, weather the DC area has today.
And I had the thought, if I do not get pregnant within the next three cycles there is a risk of being hugely pregnant in a DC summer. Terrifying.

@septca: I started having sore boobs at 3DPO, and didn't get a clear BFP until maybe 13DPO? It's still early! Holding out hope for you!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@MrsMccarthy: no, actually. Come to think of it. I am either 9/10 DPO. That makes me feel better. Thanks, love!

@septca: You are still too early to be testing. Wait a few more days and enjoy your boobs in the meantime.

I saw my old BFF yesterday morning. We lost touch after high school...blah blah blah... we reconnected and have bonded over TTC. She has an autoimmune disorder of some sort that affects her liver. She couldn't do clomid and was trying for 2.5 years. Nothing seemingly wrong with her or her husband and she told me yesterday she is 3 months pregnant! She didn't do anything different but incidentially take mucinex for the first time, switch religions and change to a lesser stress job - all during the month she got her BFP. So clearly some things just take time. Its gives me hope!
apricot / 278 posts
@septca: ah, fx!!
@mrsmcd: That's a great story! I haven't tried taking mucinex yet. I did drink grapefruit juice around O and had lots more CM!…and almost immediately. So we shall see!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsMcD: that makes me happy to read!
Does anyone ever get EWCM after ovulation? I noticed some this morning around 10. I checked my cervix around lunch and it was back sticky. Just now when I went to the bathroom I had patches of EWCM. Wth? I'm 2dpo. ETA: oh great, Google says it probably means I'm not ovulating this cycle.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@dc yoga bee: is it true EWCM or leftovers mimicking EWCM. Bc I get the latter for a couple of days after BD.
It's 5:45. Not only am I up, I'm in a suit at the metro. Someone get this woman some coffee (Starbucks isn't even open yet)...
ETA: But don't worry - I'm not the only one up. There's a guy with a super sassy steel drum at the other end of the metro. Better than coffee!
No POAS today. Because there are only so many things you can do before 5:45 am. And if I'm 10/11 DPO, I can just wait until tomorrow.
clementine / 933 posts
@septca: I'm choosing to believe when you POAS tomorrow you'll have two dark, beautiful, undeniable lines! And way to go being up and dressed and commuting at 5:45. I was about 5 minutes from waking up at that point this morning...

Hi ladies! Just had my CD 21 blood work and what else would I do but check in with my posse?! Have an appt with the RE this Friday. @mrsmcd: how did your blood work go??
So I keep reading about the mucinex... how does it help? And when should you take it?
I'm already 7 dpo and with all the crazy family happenings this month I know we're out this month. Only hit O day. But I'm (somehow) hopeful for next month. DH will do his SA next week. He's so thrilled.
@Septca: good luck Lady!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMcD: Such a great story!
@septca: eek! Is that your normal schedule?
@sapphire: So close to test date! What DPO will you be?
@dc yoga bee: Have you BD in the last day or two? Could be leftover from that. Or some EWCM still working its way out. Unless its large patches, I wouldn't be worried.
I could not sleep to save my life last night, so while I would desperately like some coffee, I am trying to avoid caffeine during the TWW.

@organicmama: I was prescribed it for this month but ended up not needing it, my doctor's instructions were to take it beginning CD9 until O. Good luck
Oh and it increases quality/quantity of cm (you might get a runny nose too)
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@doxielove: Sorry you rolled over. But seriously... I think we all still should be holding a lot of hope for ourselves and our little ones yet to come.
@organicmama: Hi lady! Sadly, I have a favorite guy at the blood draw place so I'm getting used to blood tests now and not dreading them as much. My CD21 blood work was quick and I've already taken the taped-down cotton ball off. Bahahah. I usually leave it on for an entire day. Next stop is HSG on the 7th and appointment with ob/gyn on the 15th. Then pray, pray, pray.
As for mucinex, it loosens your mucus. Gross, but true.
@Snowdrop: Good to know the specific days to take it. I never knew that. Thanks for the info!!
cherry / 230 posts
@mrsmcd: @snowdrop: sweet! Just what I need in my life is loose mucus. Ha! Hey I will give it a try next month though!
@mrsmcd: Aww, you are growing right before my eyes! Good for you ripping that cotton off! Next time I say you just grab the needle from your guy and do it yourself.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@organicmama: Bahahahah! You are too funny. I love laughs like this on monday morning. I'm excited you have an RE appointment on Friday. Come here asap and tell us about it. Do you know what will be discussed or what your plan is?
cherry / 230 posts
@mrsmcd: We will discuss my HSG, cd 3 and 21 blood work, and hopefully figure out a plan. DH and I only met her the one time at our initial visit. She did a transvaginal u/s that same day and said I was definitely about to ovulate. So now we will see if any of my testing will give us some answers on this LONG wait for munchkin #2! Oh, and i also plan to ask her about the mucinex. Cuz i don't really notice much ewcm ever...
Does anyone else have stories of what their RE prescribed/ordered after the follow up visit?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@organicmama: It sounds like we are on the same track. I had a transvaginal u/s last year at my "preconception" appointment. I was told the same thing re: imminent ovulation. I hope we both get some answers or, preferably a baby, soon!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
We have so many testers this week and next!
@septca: That sucks you were up so early! I hope you get home early and can take a nap.
@AmeliaBedilia: How are you doing, lady? Do you still have your favorite house guest?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@septca: OH good! glad it's still early. Not every pregnancy is the same. Holding out lots of hope for you.
@MrsMcD: Oh how wonderful for your friend! So sad she had to wait so long but so so glad she is going to have a baby!!
@dc yoga bee: Ive had patches and it's normal but i have also been told if it's abundant and stretchy enough another BD session isn't a bad idea!
@organicmama: Good luck with bloodwork and in the TWW
@Crystal: I am caffiene free too as you know and it is killing me!!! 15 days so far on this diet!
As for me I am feeling a bit blue because today is CD15 and i still dont have a + OPK. It's darkening but I was hoping to O today now it looks like CD 17 or 18 which has not been favorable for me. I also continue to worry about my husbands job. Although he was not laid off things there are very rocky right now. I am so scared and it would be so horrible for him to be laid off as our savings is in a shamble, we are laying down big money for his PT for his knee and may end up needing fertility treatments, who knows. if he got laid off he would most likely want to stop TTC till he had a job and who knows when that would be in this market. At my age the whole thing terrifies me. It's putting a lot of pressure on this cycle. Ugh i hope he gets a big money job in for the company soon. TTC Blows donkey balls.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMccarthy: That's a lot of rough stuff all at once... Try to plan for the worst, but hope for the best. I will keep my FX everything works out and this is your BFP cycle!
@organicmama: are you a good water drinker? Sometimes when I am not as hydrated I don't have as much CM.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Crystal: thank you sweetie! same goes for you! I know worrying wont solve anything so i am trying to take steps to buckle down on our budget just in case and pay down our small amount of debt.

@MrsMcD: I am doing better. FIL leaves tonight. I talked to DH and he has been much better. He has let me sleep in and get more breaks from FIL and is being more understanding. FIL is so frustrating. He said he wanted to do his laundry here so he doesn't go back with dirty clothes. I commented to DH later that was weird since clothes are more likely to get wrinkled, and he told me that FIL goes doesn't have a washer/dryer so this would save him a trip to the laundromat laundromat. Fine. Then while FIL was doing his laundry, he complained that our dryer wasn't as quick as his, because his was gas and ours was electric. WTF? But he is leaving in a few hours and that is good.
@septca: So hoping for a BFP from you!
A family friend recently announced she is pregnant. DH and I are pretty sure she had IF so it's probably a happy story. It made me feel like everyone is pregnant but me. The other thing that concerns me is that she is super close to SIL, and if SIL is pregnant before I am, it will KILL me.
My temps have been a little wonky. FF changed my O date to CD18. I think this is because my temps went up higher after taking progesterone and that I really O'd CD15. When I exclude one temp, it goes back to CD15. If it was CD18, our timing was only O-3. If it was CD15, we hit O-5 to O except for O-2. I am going with CD15, which would make me 8DPO.

@AmeliaBedilia: You are such a doll to deal with your FIL for that long. It sounds like you are handling it well. I have some demand inlaws that come a few times a week. They suck the life out of me and are part of the reason why I think I am really more introverted than extroverted.... And also the reason why DH will be taking the trek to the east coast this summer without me. I'm just too busy with work to visit... sorry...
As for friends who announce pregnancies, even if they deal with IF, it still stings. I have extreme happiness for my friend who recently announced, but I still responded with, "hahahahahahahahah, wow, gees, that's amazing, im so happy for you, hahahahaha... excuse me, i have something in my eye, congratulations....." At least those who have dealt with IF will understand our funny reactions.
I don't know anything about temps and whatever on FF, but if you are 8dpo then we are basically twins because I'm just 7dpo. We are in the home stretch!!

@MrsMccarthy: I'm so sorry you are worrying about so much all at once. I hope you get a positive opk soon. Don't worry too much about events that have yet to occur. That kind of stress and worry I do believe can delay O.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I may just wait until June 30. Or, if I'm antsy, I will test on the 29th. How about you?
