I'm having a heart attack right now ladies! Very scared my husband is about to be laid off. I assume the company is having issues. They told him they really wished he had gotten this job thy went out or recently, they also recently gave him 300 dollars to spend on some nice clothes. Interview clothes out of guilt? And they asked him to please sign a conodentiality aggreement. am so so so scared.

So DH is traveling a lot this summary with his buddies, and then shifting his schedule so that he works days upon days in a row so that he doesn't need to take days off for his trips. I'm also planning some weekend trips with my schedule. Sadly... the only calendar I am looking at when contemplating our schedules is my Fertility Friend calendar. I feel like such a kook but there's no way I want a BDing chance to escape us.

  12. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@MrsMcD: I would totally do that.

At this point, I'm not willing to miss opportunities.

@Crystal: I whipped it out in bed one morning when DH was talking about his august trip and he didn't bat an eye. Like, fertility friend is just such a regular thing in our house now. Funny or sad, it is what it is.

@MrsMcD: "calendar" was not what I was thinking when you said whip it out.

I didn't even make it to my POAS date. Thanks AF. And thanks body for deciding to O early. Can't even do IUI next cycle because the RE is closed July 4 plus we still have unresolved genetic testing issues. Just whatever slash it is what it is right now.

Miss not refreshing HB all day long! Hope you guys haven't forgotten me!!

@MrsMcD: dude I SO get it about not wanting to miss a month. Sigh, I hope you get you BFP soon so you can stop dealing with this shite!

@LindsayInNY: I missed you! Was wondering where you were. I'm sorry you are running into so many snags.

I feel like those snags are worse when they come up after so many months of doing everything right and still seeing BFNs.

My good mood was dashed by a very depressing BD session with my husband. He made me work so hard and was so whiney and we are only on day 1. Makes me sad because I feel like he made things so fun at first but now it's all on me.

I think we may try the JHO PP the rest of this week because his knees are bothering him. I hope it works for us.

@Marfi: I, too, am hoping you get some answers. That's such a long way away! I have a doctor's appointment on July 15 to probably get some clomid prescribed. I am counting down the minutes. I'll keep you in my thoughts and I hope something happens for you before then.

  27. Marfi

    clementine / 794 posts

@MrsMcD: I'm going to a new doctor and that's the earliest I could get in. Unfortunately even if something happens before then for me there will be no BDing for a while, I slipped going down the stairs this morning and hurt my tailbone (luckily not broken) but it hurts like the dickens.

@MrsMccarthy: So so glad your hubby didn't get laid off!

@Crystal: Glad to hear I'm not the only one who pulls out my ipad to log that BD session. Makes me feel so proud lol.

My ttc ladies will find this scenario funny!
I'm in living room, DH is in bedroom. I walk into bedroom, and say, "hi." He says, "hi." I ask him if he knows why I'm there, and he says, "to tell me we have to have sex." OMG! TTC has gotten beyond out of control. This month was O-6, O-3, O-2, O-1, and O. That will never ever happen again. But, at least we can say we pulled out the kitchen sink in hopes of a due date on our anniversary. Hell, we may even hit O+1 tomorrow too.

  30. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Crystal: Yeah, we're basically still in the normal TTC in medicated phase. Keep trying but not really expecting any different results.

@MrsMccarthy: It's just annoying. I started testing with my ob/gyn in February. Saw the RE in early April. And yet I'm still in the same place as I've been all along.

    @doxielove: I'm so sorry.

@LindsayInNY: I'm hopeful this won't be a lost cycle for you. sorry about the poor timing.

@dc yoga bee: same thing happened to me tonight! I told DH, "Don't forget-" and before I could finish, he said, "you ovulate today and we have to have sex, I know." We're keeping that spark alive! He's good about it, I hope I'm not taking all the fun out of it.

FX for an anniversary baby, which would be a great due date!

If I get knocked up this cycle, I'll be due Friday the 13th, and get to announce to our families on my bday.

Hey ladies- FIL driving me crazy and DH is super tolerant because we rarely see him. For example, FIL was 30 minutes late for something and I had to wait on him. took him grocery shopping yesterday, asked three times if he wanted anything else. I also texted DH if he wanted anything. Both said no, and I paid for everything. Then today while I am at my high schools big annual event that goes til midnight, and DH texts me to pick up several things at the grocery. No- just went yesterday. I made brownies to take to a friend, and he ate so many that there weren't enough (an I found this out ten minutes before I had to leave). And most of the upstairs now smells of body odor and urine. FIL doesn't bring out the best in DH. Three more days. Thank God he doesn't come very often. I pray this doesn't change once we have kids. Good thing we aren't in FW because I am so not in the mood.

@doxielove: oh honey! I hope it's a baby implanting. Hugs

@Marfi: oh no! That's supposed to be one of the most painful injuries. I am so sorry love. I hope you have good painkillers and some ways to treat yourself.

@dc yoga bee: hahhaha that's hilarious and so familiar.

@Crystal: I hope you get you lucky 13 baby! FX!!

@AmeliaBedilia: I am very impressed with your patience. You are a wonderful wife and DIL. That would drive me nuts too.

Oh ladies I just don't know what I would do without you all! I seriously feel like such a psycho some days and this is the only place that I can unload and commiserate without feeling like a total twat. Thank you.

    Good night.

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@MrsMccarthy: thanks. I hope this is your lucky cycle too!

We couldn't get things going tonight. Either way we hit O-4 through O-1, and will get in O+1. FF says it's "high" timing, so FX!

  37. PawPrints

    pomegranate / 3658 posts

@Crystal: I do that too, but I figure the mood is already broken by DH lunging to grab a pillow to scoot under my butt so I can elevate my hips. (Wait, maybe that's romantic in that weird TTC way?) So might as well capture that data in FF. And it feels good marking it down, like checking something off your to-do list.

Good morning all. CD1 of 6 cycles TTC has arrived for me. I had a feeling I was going to come join the 6+ club, and I'm glad y'all are so awesome, or I think I'd be feeling more down than I am.

The quick recap of my situation is that despite pretty dang good timing, I'm clearly not KU yet. I've been having cyclic pain that is very endometriosis-like in pattern and quality.

I have an ultrasound coming up a week from Monday. Sono is pretty useless for diagnosing endo, but, I guess it is a cheaper way of identifying and/or ruling out some non-endo causes of pain before going on to HSG or lap. So, not really expecting to learn much at that appointment, but, it is a step in the right direction.

I started going to acupuncture, taking a B-50 complex, and taking vitex last cycle. I also got prescribed mefanemic acid to take for pain. So far, the changes are fantastic.

Cycle 5 I had a 13 day luteal phase after 9-10 day LPs in the prior four cycles. Thus far, I'm also not having horrible pain, or even much at all. Some bits of me feel sore and achy if I stop to attend to them, but it is a level of discomfort that I can almost completely ignore most of the rest of the time.

Sweetie also go a referral to a urologist for semen analysis. Without being too TMI, sweetie's semen is noticeably different from any of my past partners', and I finally convinced him to get things looked at.

I think my next POAS date will probably be around 7/13.

    @LindsayInNY: we have missed you!

@MrsMccarthy: thanks, but I don't feel patient. DH and I need to talk today. I think what bothers me the most is DH tolerates all of it and is different when around his dad. His dad is so entitled and I am tired of bailing him out. Please send prayers that DH listens and gets what I am saying.

@lilyofthewest: welcome! Glad you found this group because we are the best!
