@doxielove: Hi there! You are such a doll for catching up on everyone. Thanks for remembering about my HSG. Its scheduled to occur on July 7. And yes, insurance is covering it. Oddly, I had called insurance not too long ago and was told that nothing related to infertility is covered. But it turns out, diagnosis and testing is covered. So thankfully I will just have a co-pay. I'll update once I find out the amount of that. How are you doing? What's going on?

@TTCbabyP: I was hoping you would come over here!
@Crystal: We were twins last night! DH and I are binge watching Game of Thrones. We want to finish it all by the end of the weekend. We are a little ways into season three.
@sapphire: It sounds like you had a great evening. So sorry about the tire mishap. But free refills at a bar are a nice end to any day.
@organicmama: I'm sorry about you and your DH's loss. That's never fun. But its awesome DH is going to get the SA. Luckily that's one of the cheaper things to do so its not to bad to pay out of pocket. And guess what? I also am doing CD21 blood work on Monday! Good luck to both of us! Did you do your CD3 blood work this cycle? Are your results okay?
@dc yoga bee: I, too, am fully surrounded by pregnant people. Last Friday was the worst. This nasty old rumpelstiltskin looking guy in my building rode the elevator down with me after work. He said his wife is delivering next week! She's 33 and he's got to be at least 60. Then an hour later, old bartender is now back at bar and she tells me she had a surprise/opps honeymoon baby.. Good for them all, but FML.
@AmeliaBedilia: I hope you aren't stressing out too much about cleaning and what not for FIL's visit. That's nice he is coming out for DH's graduation. There were a few kinks with that, right? As for baby stuff in the closet..... I, umm, have a changing table in my closet. There's no hiding that!

Please make me feel a little less crazy. Has anyone else bought anything for their future baby? I am a great shopper and have found a few deals that were just too good to pass up. I don't get anything unless it's a total steal, though- like a pack and play with changer and napper on clearance for $29.99.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@dc yoga bee: He said.... "ohhhhhh, I'm working so hard because my wife is about to deliver." I looked at him and said "Deliver what?" And then he just let loose a stream of consciousness. I was dying. He has a 30 year old daughter and this new baby boy will be his second child. His wife is 33 and he's been with her for 15 year. WTF?

@MrsMcD: WOWZERS!!!!
@AmeliaBedilia: Funny timing! I bought a baby operations manual for dh to tell him we are expecting,if we ever get to that point. Its like a funny book. DH would probably freak out if I started buying things and wasn't pregnant.

@MrsMcD: Re: your insurance - that's a happy surprise! Nothing really going on here on the TTC front. 8dpo, AF should be here Sunday.
@AmeliaBedilia: The only baby item I have is a onesie DH got for me for Christmas the first year we were TTC...so it's almost 2 years old, lol. I keep it tucked away in the drawer I keep my vitamins so it's a daily reminder that I'm still not pregnant. It's really quite depressing.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMcD: that is hilarious!!!
@AmeliaBedilia: I have a couple baby clothes, if that counts. Before I found out I was going to miscarry, I bought a few onesies to surprise DH with in his stocking. Now I guess I'll just use them for a surprise when I get the next BFP.
@MrsMcD: ugh to your bartender. Stupid fertile ladies everywhere.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@dc yoga bee: I'm holding out the faith for you!
That's why I hid my onesies in the back of my closet in two bags. I also have a card I bought for DH in there. I like to pretend it doesn't exist.
clementine / 933 posts
The only thing I have bought is a diaper bag. I'm a huge fan of Vera Bradley, and I travel to Indiana each year for their outlet sale. Last year they had the exact bag I wanted in the pattern I wanted for more than 50% off, so I bought it. It's hiding in the closet in what will be the baby's room. I also have a couple of hand-me-down things from my sister, and they also hide in that closet. I haven't bought anything even though I got my BFP more than two weeks ago. I'm scared I'm going to jinx it! I did get DH a book for Father's Day, though.

I have a ton of baby stuff. And I buy mat clothes.
You guys. I am so stressed/emotional/angry/frustrated at work right now. It's all I can do to keep from bursting into tears today. My current job is such a mess that I don't even know where to start. At least next week is my last....

@littlek: tomorrow and then one more. But my big project is over Monday, so I may take Thursday and Friday off.

@AmeliaBedilia: I knitted things before we found out, it helped me stay positive and now I thinkit was a really good idea as I'm to tired to do it now. I think you will be thankful for those items one day

@MrsMcD: wow I full on pictures that guy. Gross, an so unfair!!
@AmeliaBedilia: you aren't crazy! You are excited to be a momma and you will be one! I bought a few baby things about 8 months before we got pregnant with my son. It was so wonderful to use them after feeling so nuts buying them.
@doxielove: HUGs!
@septca: the last week is so hard but you can do it!! At least you know you made the right decision!
@Snowdrop: aww how cute! Wanna post some photos? I love tiny baby things.
apricot / 278 posts
@ameliabedilia: I purchased a baby onesie because I loved what it said on the front and couldn't resist. DH rolled his eyes and felt like I was jinxing things…but I told him it was normal and it's okay…lol. A few weeks ago, my youngest sister who is 18 went to Target with me and she's probably just as obsessed as I am about ME having a baby in the near future. (So lucky we are close enough to talk about it as well!) I was tempted to buy two unisex outfits and then I was like…"Let's go to Marshall's" as they have super cute baby stuff. So I didn't purchase those outfits and planned on buying something at Marshall's and they didn't have anything that I really liked…haha go figure. I also purchased a book for my DH when I do find out that I get my bfp I want to give him a gift with a few things inside it including the book. I purchased it before AF arrive this past month hoping I could have given it to him on Father's Day but OH WELL!
This cycle would be amazing…not trying to get my hopes up but we would find out around 4th of July…DH's older brother passed away a year and a half ago at 38 years old and his birthday was 4th of July…so if I found out then that would be amazing. FX…if it's meant to be it will be but still!
And everyone around me is pregnant…so many people at work, friends, everyone. *Patience* *Patience*…trying!!

@nicolechris11212: that ecard made me laugh!
@Snowdrop: what did you make? How cute!
@septca: that's just awful... I'm so glad you are almost done! When does new job start?
I am very much enjoying a glass of wine tonight. I have tomorrow off am so looking forward to a long weekend.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@nicolechris11212: That's hilarious.
@Crystal: I hope your wine was wonderful. I had two glasses and promptly fell asleep on the couch. DH *loves* when I do that.
@Snowdrop: Do you have pictures of adorable tiny knitted items??? :squee: A few years ago, I started making counted cross-stitch stockings for everyone in my family so that our mantel would have matching stockings. What a labor of love (read: HUGE PITA)... I got through 5 (me, DH, my mom and dad, MIL) and... have been halfway through DD's for 2 years. Oops. Really need to get back on that.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes yesterday. It was a terrible day, but I am trying remind myself that it will all be over soon. Unfortunately, I don't get to start some fantastic new job (although *hopefully* that will be happening later this summer) - I am just ending my temporary gig to go back to my normal job. My normal job is boring and unchallenging, but it has a ton of flexibility and it's a MUCH better place for my mental health, so I'll take it!!!

Oh, and right... I'm 8 DPO and managed to avoid POAS. Sorry, all you POAlltheSs voyeurs.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@septca: mental health is so important- sounds like the temporary reassignment end date is coming at the right time.
Do you have a pic of the stockings?
I'm impressed you could hold strong to not POAS! Its getting harder to wait... Who knew peeing on things could be so addicting?!
I haven't temped at all this month and am trying to be more zen about ttc. I think I should o today. If so, we hit O-4, O-3, O-2, and O-1, and will BD later today.

@Crystal: Adding my Disney thread response here instead. Mama Cozza's! Both of my parents went to Loara. (BTW, I was just looking at the google map or Anaheim and the house in Orange where we lived until I was 8 - they still have my play house in the back yard!!!
)
I don't have any pictures on me, but here is a link to the ones I have made so far. SO much work, but I them.

@septca: we hit O-5 through O+1 the month we got our BFP. Since then, we've had the same timing other months and no dice. I'm actually wondering if we are doing it too much? Maybe EOD would be better?
Confession-I also wonder if I'm not into it enough which is hindering things?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Crystal: The month I got my BFP with DD, we hit every day O-5 through O+1 except O-4. The month of my CP BFP we hit O-4, O-3, and O-1. I am *all about* the EOD these days. I don't think you not being into it makes much difference, fortunately... but I do think that people seem to have just as good of luck with EOD. I also think a lot of REs recommend EOD... but if you don't have any known issues, there is no reason not to go ED if you want.

Hi all! Still following along here... Had to pop in with this crochet project I saw on fb last night. I'm a knitter, but this makes me want to learn to crochet! So cute!

@septca: you just made me feel so much better! I think I'm putting too much pressure on myself, which makes it hard to focus at times.
Maybe we'll try EOD then ED O-2 through O.
I've only used OPKs the last two days and no temping, so I'm guessing as to when I will O. I only have 2 cheapie HPTs left, so I'll have to be careful when I use them.
Thanks for the info on the pizza place, I'll have to check it out!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Crystal: We're both o'ing today, and both off work today! Hells yeah to that! Your timing ROCKS!!! I haven't been into it at all this week, until last night. I told DH, let's have "relaxing sex" last night. And then he goes, "okay, vanilla sex coming right up!" I felt so bad. But, I did end up having fun. I think taking the pressure off, and being silly makes a difference.
@septca: Agh, so sorry about the delay with your awesome opportunity, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait! Those stockings are amazing. I'm impressed! I had pomegranate sangria last night at dinner. OMG- I'm kinda sort of feeling sangria. That counts as wine right?!?
@LIL BEAN: LOVE it!!
AFM, I got up this morning, and got a free adjustment from my chiropractor for my b-day ( her), then I went to my favorite coffee shop and had a chai latte, some danish with red fruit in it, and read some of "The Husband's Secret." I highly recommend it! Then, I used my last gift certificate, and went and had a massage. Sometimes, I worry about massage on Ovulation day, but who cares, I was super relaxed and added some lavender aromatherapy for added relaxation.
As far as our timing, we've hit O-6, O-3, O-2, O-1. We will also BD tonight on O day. I am so so so proud of us. We've never hit that many days of our fertile window before!

@dc yoga bee: twinsies! Your day sounds wonderful so far.
It's still early here, so I'm hanging out on the couch and watching "I wanna marry Harry" on hulu. This show is RIDICULOUS. Perfect for a lazy day.

@Crystal: great job! So hoping we join the March board together.
I started progesterone last night. I feel like my temps have been more wonky than usual, and I hope CD15 was in fact O. If so, we hit O-5 to O except O-2.
DH is so frustrating me right now. FIL is in town and can't manage his own finances. We have bailed him out before. We had to pay for his flight since DH wanted him here for his graduation (used FF miles), and then he is meeting a friend for lunch and goes to the most expensive place in town. DH gave him $45 for lunch (out of his fun money so it doesn't actually affect me). It is the principle that frustrates me. (Please don't tell me to pick a fight with DH, I am just venting.)
honeydew / 7295 posts
@septca: your crocheting project sounds like mine only at least you finished mire than one item. I so want to be crafty but I'm not really and I get very frustrated when. I make mistakes or something takes too long. I very excited for Sunday and hopefully good news from you!
@Crystal: we have been doing EOD and as I said many a time my son was a one shot deal on O day. I aim to get as close to O as possible but rivaling that I don't think hitting every day is necessary. Plus it gives your husband time to build up spermies!
@dc yoga bee: nice timing and all those treats sound lovely.
Hip hip hooray! I am CD12 and we start our EOD till OpK BD tonight. I can't decide if ill use my C+ tonight or save it for closer to O. I'm hoping to make it last at least two months. Perhaps I'll gauge it by the darkness of my OPK. I feel very optimistic again this cycle after some really low points cycles 5 and 6. Maybe knowing those fibroids aren't an issue helped along with weaning.
Oh and in more awesome news I lost 4 pounds on day 12 of my cleanse (yes it coincides with my Cycle because I wanted to start the day after my birthday so I could indulge then.) And I just found out that a dear friend who has had two miscarriages since Mother's Day 2013 is pregnant again and this one is looking to be sticky! She and her husband are around my age and this is their first baby. I am so thrilled for her and so hopeful. And it would be a dream to be pregnant together if it works out for us. She said she is having more nausea this time which makes her more hopeful. She is around 6 or 7 weeks. She and her husband will be perfect parents! Send good vibes!

@LIL BEAN: I just saw your post! That is the most adorable Halloween costume ever!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: vent away! I don't know your entire situation, but from your recent posts, it sounds like your FIL takes advantage... Does he not have money to live on? I just don't understand why DH would need to give him money for lunch. I think you are displaying a lot of patience with this.
@MrsMccarthy: to your friend!
Let me know how you like the C+, I think I will order some for next cycle. Are your OPKs getting close to positive?
