Getting bored of my usual workout and the cold weather is coming up, so I am looking to find a fun game that involves getting a little sweaty.
Tell me which one you have and the system it is compatible with and why you like it or not.

I have a couple of the Just Dance games for the Wii. I really like them. It's definitely a fun way to get exercise. I also like the songs on the Just Dance games, which is why I bought them.

I used to play DDR at the arcade with all my friends. DDR is also how I met my DH 
I won a tournament once (Yes there are DDR tournaments... and yes, I am a huge nerd).
DDR is SO much fun, especially if you get in to beating your scores. I used to play for hours every weekend. It is definitely really good cardio!!
Personally, I can't play without a "real" (as in metal and heavy) game pad, because I like to play harder/faster songs and those mats just fly everywhere. Luckily I have a homemade DDR pad that works with a PS2 lol.
Anyway all this said, if you just want to play casually, one of those soft mats are probably fine.

I have just dance and you can out together a few songs to make a decent workout. I used to do that in the mornings or after work. I really have to get back to it.

I used to love DDR!
I play Dance Central on my Xbox with Kinect now. Love that I don't slip and slide on a mat anymore (doesn't require one). And it feels more like choreographed dancing because it requires both arm and leg movements (vs. DDR which is just leg movements). The music is also more to my taste.
When I play a lot, I definitely get a good cardio workout.

Me and my girlfriends in college used to play Dance Central for Kinect. It's really fun! It's a crazy good workout too. We'd always end up sweaty and winded.
Bonus, also really fun to play while drinking. haha.

I was hooked on DDR at Uni! I'd say I prefer it to the Just Dance games, you get much more of a workout! I had the fabric pad and it worked fine for me, as long as you have carpet you'll have no issues with it moving.
