Im trying to limit myself to one tub. Things that are in good condition, special memories and a few things from each size.

My mom saved her favorite outfits and gave them to me to use for my son. I love that I have them. I'd say save a couple favorites from each size.

We have a relatively small rubbermaid tub and I put a few things in there. We had a November boy, and now we're having an August girl, so there were a lot of things that couldn't be re-used. I kept things like DS's coming home outfit and the hat he wore in the hospital. DH also had a favorite outfit he loved so I kept that too.

But other than that, I have MOUNTAINS of boy clothes from the first 2 years that are in garbage bags waiting to go to charity.

I saved her little hat from the hospital but nothing else. It's in a box with ultrasound photos and her hospital band.

She had some gender neutral clothes that I will re-use for our December boy but after he is done with them, I will get rid of them.

@MrsKoala: Ditto. My mom saved some favorites from each of her three kids, and I was able to use some for my daughter. It was so special for both my mom and I. My mom actually wishes she's saved more. It was so much fun to go through all that she saved when I was pregnant!

I've got a tub with stuff for both girls- just favorite outfits or sentimental items.

I wish my mom had saved my baby clothes- I love dressing my girls in vintage. My girls may not want them when they're older, but that'll be up to them.

I think even once I'm sure our family is complete, I'll save a few really nice pieces, either to give as gifts to friends with babies, or in case the kids want them years later. We are still getting hand me downs from co workers with grown kids and grandkids, and it's so sweet and I would love to give people gifts like that down the road.

My mom saved a few things for me...just a couple toddler dresses/jumpers and like one pair of jeans. And these hilarious overall shorts that say HeeHaw on them and are covered in chickens. And my baptism dress and first communion dress/veil

I love the stuff that's especially vintage, like the Polly Finders dresses and osh kosh jumpers

I don't think I'll keep them to hand down--I'll probably make a quilt or something with my very favorite and pass down the rest.

We only kept the outfit he came home from the hospital in, some one of a kind things from concerts and stuff, handmade items and OSU gear that maybe they can pass on (assuming my family will always be OSU fans).

@PinkElephant: I save some nicer things- pricer, well made items (there aren't that many, lol), and I also save onesies that I love. I am also saving all their saltwater sandals- I buy for my oldest and youngest gets hand me downs, but I'll save them all even if they're ratty because I love them so much.
